“Great place”
My family and I had to stay here for my graduation and it was awesome. Lots of things to do downtown. The room was nice and comfortable. They even let us check 3 hours early!
“Pleasant Stay”
The location is ideal for walking around the downtown area. The hotel was quite and very nice. I didn't get to see or do to much because I was there for business, but I would stay there again.
“my stay”
I was pleased w/my stay at hotel. I had a speedy check-in & check out & staff very nice
“Great location!”
This is an older hotel, which is in the process of being renovated. Our room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. The desk clerk was very helpful. This hotel is within two blocks of the bay area, which was great. Also, there's a great Irish Pub in the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
“you get what you paid.”
Will stay at next time。
“What an amazing view”
The hotel stay was great overall. The hotel is under renovation so I was a little worried when I pulled up in front. When we looked at the old rooms we were concerned but upon seeing the newly renovated rooms and the view we upgraded. The junior suite we upgraded to overlooked the beach. It was wonderful and well worth the extra few dollars a night. The continental breakfast was a little bit lacking but if you like cereal, honey buns, bagels and cheese danishes then you will be in heaven! The staff was friendly and I would consider staying again! I look forward to seeing the building when all the work is done...
“"i would go back"”
i would go back the price was very economic and aside from checking in a little late everything else was satisfactory, we did not stay in the room most of the time we were out in the town, there was a art show going on and we enjoyed it, for dinner we walked to a near by restaurant, so over all it was nice
“Don't judge the book by its cover...”
It is an old building that to be quite honest has seen better days. When I walked into the lobby, I got the feel of the days of Glen Miller...the big band days. This hotel clearly had been SOMETHING in its heyday. I thought I had made a huge mistake. It looked like it has been going through a remodel for a long time...like maybe one person is doing all the work. Kinda like the guy on Murphy Brown.. But...the clerk when i checked in was SUPER nice. He got me checked in quick and without hassle. My room and it was clean and neat. The restroom was in dire need of rehab, but, everything worked, and isn't that whats important? I booked this hotel because it was cheap. I saw a few days later, the rate was much much higher from what I paid. This hotel is not worth that much per night! But, at the cheaper rates, its perfect. It is close to the Corpus downtown nightlife. I walked everywhere. I would definitely stay here again, IF the rate was right
“Economy Room - "Good" for the price”
Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront offers a variety of types of rooms from economy rates to suites. We got an economy room: 2 queen beds - not very big but big enough. It served our purpose. It was clean and maid services came in the morning to make beds, clean bathrooms & replace towels, as needed. All of the staff was helpful & friendly. Our only objection was the delay in check in - 5:00 PM!! Free parking was nice but the parking garage was treacherous! Its dark inside and has narrow 2-way lanes. . . an accident waiting to happen. Even with the late check in and the dangerous parking garage - I would stay there again.
“Huge Value- Cool Rooms”
I came to stay at Bayfront because a friend from work had stayed here over the summer. He told me about the great value hidden in this seemingly older hotel. Just as he prepared me for, the hotel is a little dated on the outside but once inside, it is totally surprising. There are full service amenities of bar, restaurant, etc. and the rooms are new and hip-retro. I was only there one night but I am going to find out what kind of mattress they have- best night's sleep.
