“Ahh, the island life.”

It was very relaxing in the off season.

Nice, clean, fairly new. Everything worked. Close to the beach. Would go back and recommend to others.

“Oustanding Customer Service”

The staff really understood customer service and guests were treated like GUESTS! Our reservations were to include whirlpool tubs, they don't have any. Also the sunrise was blocked by the Holiday Inn, that was disappointing.

The staff was super courteous and helpful. I was late for breakfast one morning and they made sure that I had something before I left for the day. The room was large and clean and the pillow top king size bed made me feel like i was in my own bed. I will go there again!

“Will go back”

We stayed in a room with "ocean view" and balcony. Unlike many other lodging facilities, for fair price, this room actually had a great (and real) ocean view. Recommend to bring a lawn chair for quiet time on the balcony. I was a little concerned about the service and cleanness when I read other reviews, but during our two-nights stay, we enjoyed pleasant time and encountered no problem at all.

“Nice hotel - quiet, clean but a little hard to find”

Beach access is across the street and through the neighboring hotel's parking lot. The "ocean view" rooms have a window, not a balcony. Breakfast buffet is good, with lots of bread products, but also eggs and sausage or bacon. Street signs are not overly prominent or consistent with my Yahoo map -- we had to stop at a gas station to ask for directions. Overall, a good, solid hotel I'd stay at again.

“Only sorry it had to end”

The location was great. We had our children with us as well so that complimentary breakfast helped out alot. The room was clean, the AC was cold, whatever we asked for extra we got. I would definelty recommend this place to anyone. With expedia's help we saved about 120 dollars on the room. The only gripe if any abou the hotel is the pool would close at 10 pm.

“Comfort, amenities and beach proximity”

Staying at the Comfort Inn on Padre Island helped to make our family vacation one of the easiest and most comfortable we've had. The suite gave mom and dad a king sized bed with easily the most comfortable hotel mattress I have ever experienced, while our two boys each had a separate bed (one queen, one couch that opened into a double) with a door between us. The full kitchen added to the ease, allowing the boys their ad hoc snacking capability.

“Wonderful experience”

It was an awesome hotel. Very clean and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. I would most definately return and stay again next time.

Have stayed in many hotels in Corpus and Port A and highly recommend this one. We plan to go back!!
