We are sorry to hear that your stay was not good......The smoke siren was not in your room....it was the town siren going off randomly for many reasons...mostly calling out for volunteers....that night was really odd time in the middle of the night.....And we do not have aircon units at all and you could find it in the room description when booking as most other motels do not have aircon units....you can find some if you up your budget double or triple in this town....for the neighbor kids running around early in the morning...we do apologize on behalf.....All in all...sorry for the inconveniences again.

Thanks for the review and you are right about that Aircon which is really needed for a couple of hottest nights of the year….but we will have to double the booking amount if we have invested in Aircon at our motel as other motels without Aircon charges double the amount you paid for a night for the Summer season....then we would not attract bookings in the Summer…..Most motels do not have Aircon rooms even in the prime location. We recommend you to check if the rooms have Aircon when you make a booking coming back to Whitianga though you have to up your game. Our rooms are not that hot if you stay on other nights avoiding the hottest days of the year as you can check through our guest reviews. I wish we can find a magic solution for that as well.....Anyway happy new year and all the best.
