Very comfortable hotel.
Excellent hotel with good staff. Noisy late into the night and early morning currently because of harbour contractor activity at the front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast.

Great Short gateaway
Great location with a fantastics view of the harbour. Room was clean and spacious. Friendly and informative check in. We were given a free Gin and Tonic on arrival. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety

No food other than breakfast available for guests who were not on the Christmas package. We would not have booked if we had known. The down hill walk to town on dark winter nights for food should be avoided.

Amazing hotel with dog friendly rooms. Extremely comfortable bed, rooms are beautifully decorated with the bonus of complimentary gin in the room.

Stunning hotel, amazing staff and service, been wanting to stay here for years and it didn't disappoint. The little extras made the stay even better. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. Will definitely be back again.

Great hotel…..breakfast service bit iffy
Hotel is in a great location and overall a lovely hotel. Only downside was breakfast service appreciate it’s a busy service but manager in charge was more interested in telling people off constantly telling them she has a process to follow…took almost 1 hour to get our hot food because she is the only person allowed to seat people and also take orders….other than that fab hotel. Nice touch with g&t in your room

We certainly do have a system for breakfast that allows us to manage breakfast correctly and minimise delay times. Unfortunately there can be pinch points during breakfast that can cause longer waiting times than we would like so I am sorry this happened on this occasion. We hope to see you again soon.

Autumn getaway
Excellent location close to town, refurbished grand hotel with views over the estuary. Nice autumn getaway, room cosy up in the roof. Excellent breakfast. Lovely helpful staff.

Excellent location, safe parking, clean with good facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Only small issue was the WiFi not working but was quickly resolved after staff were told. And also the room was not quite ready for our arrival at 3.40pm. Check in was 3pm. However the overall stay was excellent. Will definitely book with them again.

The restaurant waiting staff were great and the room staff were prompt and did a good job too. Hotel may look a little severe from the outside but don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s lovely and we would stay again

Great stay!
Had a great 2 night break. At first found some attention to detail annoying, complimentary gin and tonic in room but no bottle opener or ice. Room cleanliness not top notch but nice bedding and great shower, nice toiletries. We had a garden room opening onto lawn which was perfect for the lovely weather, what a great sunrise ! Really enjoyed breakfast, great choice and quality with lovely staff serving. All in all a lovely e perience, thank you.

Lovely stay
We absolutely loved staying here. Gorgeous room, friendly staff and lovely food. Complentary gin on arrival.Very comfy bed and good nights sleep( room 47) on third floor. Had to queue for breakfast which was disappointing as it took ages to be seated. Male staff member looked very unhappy and stressed. Maybe the hotel should have time slots that guests can book so big queues do not cause problems . Great hotel and great location.

Fantastic views
Very good hotel with great service. Views are fantastic. We had a garden room which allowed direct access to the lovely lawn. Only downside was that it was under the bar/restaurant which meant noise in the evening and early morning.
