“Weekend at St Michaels Hotel in Falmouth, Cornwall”
Had the perfect weekend at the hotel with my daughter (who is 6 months pregnant). Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble & the food was delicious. The spa staff were a delight & the treatments great. Will be back again next year.
“Great for a 'Nauchtical' Weekend!”
This feels more like a cruise ship than a hotel - there are huge sails outside, inside are portholes, fish, netting etc - even the reception desk is a boat! Having said that, the 'theme' does work - particularly as the hotel overlooks the sea. There is a Spa & pool downstairs (which sadly we didn't get time to use), beautiful gardens, a terrace & a really good restaurant (called The Flying Fish!) where we had a delicious meal. This is a very nice hotel which could be even better if they slightly raised their game in terms of service - the outside terrace had uncleared tables for long periods of time and we often had to go inside to order drinks or refills.
