“A great place to stay”
We only stayed for one night but had a lovely time. The hotel was beautifully furnished and clean and the owners were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was varied and plentiful with homemade bread and freshly laid eggs from the resident chickens. We chose it because it was dog friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Stayed in hotel for one night, Sue and Sharon were friendly and welcomed us well. Where we needed to be out early before breakfast started they provided an early bird breakfast of fruit and cereal. Our dog was able to stay here too without a problem. Beautiful views from the comfortable room. Would be lovely to stay at this hotel in the winter when the log fire in the lounge is burning.
“Hotel with character.”
Good country food, much of it home produced. Comfortable room although rather cramped on top floor. Slightly querky, in a good way, with interesting collection of musical instruments. Ideal for dog-owners.
