“A good, clean, honest, no-frills place to stay.”

The room I had was clean, bright, sensibly decorated and with one or two pictures to break up the walls. The beds were neatly made and had a nice crispness to them. The one I used was comfortable and I slept extremely well, do not expect a lie-in on a Sunday though as the hotel is right across the road from the church and the bell ringers get going at about quarter past nine. On the two mornings that I was there I indulged myself with a full English breakfast and I was not disappointed, it came well cooked and presented. The bar has a pretty good selection of local beers and I would recommend the 'Trelawney' to anyone who goes there. There is a also very good selection of bar food available. If you are looking for a plain, good, honest, no frills, place to stay in St.Agnes then go no further than here. A folder with some local information in each room might be a bonus but the lack of one did not detract from my stay.
