“Don't look any where else - 5 Star!!”
My husband will tell you, I am the most fussy person ever & when looking at hotels, I will only look and stay at 4 or 5 star but Sophia's had very good reviews and location was perfect so we thought we will try and OMG I could not find one thing to complain about this hotel. The bed & Pillows were so comfortable, the shower was just the best, the view was amazing and breakfast, wow!!! It was soo good. The lady that owns this place (no she is not called Sophia) she is very nice, helpful, friendly and welcoming and she will not let you leave until you belly's are full and happy at the breakfast table. if you get a chance, also try and have dinner there, its really good. Chain hotels are standard & with some luck you might get a decent room but this one is privately owned and you get treated as a speacial guest. I would highly recommend staying here.
“Excellent B&B”
Was impressed with the photos on the website and booked from that. We were not disappointed. Recently refurbished, bathroom was modern, clean. A separate storage area and a spacious bedroom with a big window overlooking the sea. And excellent food served by our hostess Lynn.
“Fantastic time at Sophias - it should have 5 stars”
I am so glad that Expedia asked me to review my stay at Sophia's this weekend. It was a fantastic experience. The hospitality we received was unparalleled. We phoned in advance to ask what time we could have our room as we were arriving on the overnight train from London. Lynn said we could go straight to the hotel and what's more, she offered to cook a breakfast for us - this was a really lovely touch. After that, she did everthing she could to make our stay comfortable she even produced a camera charger for us as we mentioned that we'd forgotten ours. The room was lovely. It was bright, airy and offering a lovely view of the sea. the shower was great and the selection of tea/apple juice and elderThe cooked breakfasts were great and Lynn produced fantastic fresh fruit salad and home made marmalade in addition to the actual cooked breakfast. It was brilliant value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it to others.
