What a wonderful place with lovely people, delicious breakfasts, beautiful surroundings with plenty to see and do. Many many thanks - we will be back!

Down to the Penrose for a one night stay for a friends winter wedding. Arriving after a long journey across a snowy Britain, Chris and Heidi were most welcoming and had no problem with me checking in early. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. After arriving late back from the wedding I had a very comfortable nights sleep and then a very, very good full English breakfast. Just the thing for the post-wedding reception hangover. Overall a very good little spot.

What a fantastic stay we had in Penrose , Chris and Heidi were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home from the minute we arrived, full of information of the local area and beyond, we will most definetly be recommending to friends and family as well as returning ourselves Thank you

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Knowledgable and friendly hosts and good pub in the village for the evening meals. Fantastic breakfast including the home made marmalade! Many thanks.
