“Would love to be back there”
Had a great week here the owners are very friendly, with nothing being too much trouble for them. The room was very comfortable. The B&B is at the top of a very steep hill, but you do feel fit afterwards :-)
“Great place to stay”
The B&B is at the top of a very steep drive with adequate on site parking. We were warmly greeted. The hosts offered to do a bag of laundry for us as there are no coin machines in town. Incidently, the place is in Magivissey. The Post Office address is St. Austell about 5+ miles away. There is a common room overlooking the harbor where you are welcome to sit, warm up some "take out" food, enjoy a cup of tea, and visit with other guests. Best place we've stayed on this trip.
“Small and cramped”
During our ten day trip around the South of England we stayed at 6 different B&B's and the Bacchus was by far the worst, the two rooms we booked make London hotel rooms look big in compared to these and the en-suites are very cramped. Tommy the owner cooks scrabbled eggs in a microwave in the dinning room and we only had them on one day, only other choice is boiled. Saving grace is the view and cleanliest of the rooms. Only stayed 4 days of the 5 booked as the 4 of us were so disappointed. So not recommend .
