my hotel experience was good...nice front desk clerks which were the owners...very clean and quite hotel...was on the second floor so dnt knw how the other floors were with noise....only problem i had was my sheets had bn washed but still had stains on them like some tar...but was helped in a respectful manner w that...thanks Clarion for a great stay....on my CIAA trip......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clean, cozy, decent breakfast (sausage and gravy!) and a friendly, accomodating staff. I will stay there again. It has good proximity to nice restaurants such as Samira (Indian-- delicious) and Lake Norman, Davidson's campus, and the interstate. Great bargain! And lucky for us, they were able to take our big dog and charge us a reasonable fee-- $25 for her.

“Excellent Hotel”

The hotel was extremely clean. The room was a nice size and very clean and smelled fresh. I was surprised at how comfortable the bed and pillows were. The front desk staff was especially friendly and helpful with directions to places to eat and about the area. The hotel is conveniently located 1 block off of I-77 and is on a quiet block. The breakfast food was always fresh and plentiful. I would encourage anyone who visits Charlotte to stay here and see the sights of Lake Norman, it is beautiful. This is the best hotel I've stayed in and I can't wait to go back!

“A lovely stay”

I went to the Clarion Inn has a single traveller and felt very safe at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and kind to me. The management staff in particular were understanding of my jet-lag and provided me with a sun lounger even though the pool area was not officially open. The only negative comments are about the room. The fridge turned itself on and off every 10 minutes which was annoying at night time. The windows did not open which I assumed was to prevent bugs in the warmer season. The cleaners began knocking for room service at 8am which was too early for those on holiday, in my opinion! Apart from that the stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. The location is great for seeing many parts of Charlotte. It is close to the freeway but not too close that you get noise of traffic. There are restaurants within walking distance. I was able to get a taste of the area in my 2 weeks and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

I spent 5 nights at the Clarion while attending a business conference. Very clean and comfortable rooms and a really good breakfast. If I have another trip to the Lake Norman area, I would definitely stay again.
