“No complaints”
This hotel is pristine. Our standard room had premium amenities: plasma tv, two comfortable beds with down comforter, heated floors in bathroom. I could go on and on. Highly recommended.
“Nice Place”
I travelled to Cork for a meeting and the city was quite nice - the organizers explained selecting Cork over several other locations because of available facilities and reasonable costs. The meeting was at the Clarion, but it was fully booked, so my next choice was the River Lee. That resulted in a good 20-25 minute walk every day to the meeting, thus convenience of location was OK, but not great. Otherwise, the River Lee was outstanding, very nice room, flat screen TV, roomy, and clean with cabled internet service. Everyone was friendly and the pub/lounge was a nice place for a pint and light meal.
“very enjoyable stay!”
Loved this hotel. The view from pushed out window was so wonderful. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had in Ireland during our stay. The only negative was that the staff wasn't very helpful in giving directions to the hotel but once we arrived everything was wonderful.
“little gem on the bank of the River Lee”
This stunning hotel looks a very recently built hotel and as such provides a very modern and stylish feel. The leisure facilities are second to none in this hotel with a fabulous pool, jacuzzi, steam room/sauna and a nicely equipped gym. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is fanstastic with flatscreen TV in each room, speakers in the bathroom to listen to the TV(!), and every gadget conceivable throughout. It's attention to detail lends a very relaxing stay and I was very chilled out after the weekend here! Highly recommended
“Was extremely impressed with the standard of the hotel!”
The hotel had only been open six months when we went and i was really impressed with the service received and the additional extras you got in your room. the views from the hotel itself and the room were amazing over the city and the bed huge! A well stocked mini bar and stereo in the room meant a good time was had by all!
“I'll definitely stay there again”
I stayed at the River Lee Hotel for 1 night on 22nd October 2011. It was a lovely hotel and the staff were very helpful. We used the Urban Escape day spa at the hotel and I’d definitely recommended using them for a massage and facial! It was a wonderful treat! The restaurant’s food was delicious and the portions were large. The only slight problem was the lift wasn’t working from the underground car park to the hotel reception so we had to go via the leisure centre – not the end of the world and I’m sure a rare occurrence. I’ll definitely stay there again!
“FANTASTIC!”
This hotel was lovely. The rooms are large, clean and have everything you need. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The Duty Manager was a complete star - making sure that a small problem with our booking was dealt with so professionally we were upgraded to the Executive Suite! We would definitely book in here when next in Cork.
“Will be back soon”
A good hotel, good value for money, nice and modern and within short walking distance of the University.... Will definitely stay here again!
“Wonderful”
A beautiful hotel within easy reach of all Cork's main attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and one of the best we've stayed in. Staff were cheerful and helpful and made us feel very welcome. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, the breakfast in particular not to be missed. Most evenings were spent drinking in the comfortable Weir Bar, where the food available was first class. Service from all staff could not be faulted. We definitely will be going back. Would recommend the River Lee Hotel without hesitation.
“River Lee Hotel - excellent with very friendly staff”
This is a lovely modern hotel set by the river and within 5/10 mins of shops, bars etc. We couldn't fault our room, service or the hotel itself. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One tiny suggestion - I would have liked a magnifying mirror on the bathroom wall so that I could put my contact lenses in!! If we come to Cork again we shall certainly stay there.
