“Good value for money.Excellent location for centre of city”

Quaint outside eating area with waterfall.Very good size rooms with everything you needed,Just short walk to central shopping area.Overall very good value.Only downside was the shabby lift area just near reception which is one of your first few views of the hotel after you leave the reception area. However this would not prevent me from staying here again

“Nice hotel except for the noise.”

Noisy early in the morning and late at night staff moving bottles into bottle banks and beer kegs being moved in courtyard below our window. Disapointed that hotel would not change Scottish money.

Great location, nice room although the bathroom could have been upgraded.

“good hotel”

Good, clean hotel. Very well located. My room was spacious, but the window facing onto the corridoor let in some light at night. There is a nice restaurant, but it is pricey.

“Interesting hotel in Cork”

The rooms have been upgraded recently but there is still some work to do. One odd thing that I had never seen before was that you needed to use your room key to turn on the electricity--therefore, you turn it off when you leave the room.

“Wouldn't stay here again”

Hotel wasn't very clean hallways smelt of moldy wet carpet.. Cleaning equipment and staff areas were left open was not very tidy and unfortunately had a room opposite a pub so had a terrible sleep as drunks would be kicking bins over and yelling from 2am till 4am

“Nice hotel in good location”

Pros: Nice, large, clean room. Powerful shower. Lovely, helpful staff. Excellent location. Good value for money. Pretty waterfall in the courtyard. Cons: Mattress a little bit too hard - affected my sleep, but I do have joint problems, my partner said he slept ok. The bathroom door has a large gap under it, so you can hear everything anyone does while they are in there! But we would definitely stay again. Tips: Try 'Sin E', the traditional pub located a minutes walk down the road (turn right coming out of the hotel entrance, the pub is on the other side of Mc Curtain St). Excellent music, atmosphere and drinks - loved the guiness! An airport bus goes from outside the hotel and is 4 euros. But it's only every 2 hours or so. You can get a bus from the coach station (4 mins walk away) for 4.5 euros and they're much more frequent. Have a great time!

“Disappointed with Isaacs”

Reception staff were polite but not overly friendly. Parking was at a nearby church and cost 5 euro a night, which was fair considering the location of the hotel on a busy street with major parking restrictions throughout the day. The hotel's garden area, reception and restaurants all looked well maintained, but the upstairs hallways and hotel rooms looked worn down. The hotel room was average with an antiquated 12" TV. The bathroom was accessed via a small sitting area outside the bedroom that was poorly designed and laid out with odds and ends of furniture and the large bathroom needed a splash of paint and proper cleaning. MacCurtain Street has some nice bars on it but otherwise looks run down. However a few pleasant restaurants are nearby on Patrick Street and the downtown shopping area is easily accessed by foot in less then 10 minutes.
