“Brilliant”
Not the best location, and some slightly substandard features for a 5 star hotel, eg plastic bath and no separate shower, ie shower in bath. But the hotel was extremely comfortable and the food was magnificent. Usually hotel food is either dreadful or frightfully expensive. We did not try the Orchids restaurant, but dinner in the bistro was absolutely delicious, good wines, excellent service. As good as I have had in a long time. Service too was excellent, although the garrulous, (kissed the Blarney Stone) concierge was a bit OTT. Overall we had a fantastic weekend in Ireland and the HAyfield Manor provided an excellent fulcrum to our stay. Thoroughly recommend.
“An unexpected pleasure”
A wonderful, tasteful hotel with excellent standards of service and managing to combine total professionalism with warmth and comfort
“Best hotel I've ever stayed in”
We had a wonderful stay at Hayfield Manor and would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were made to feel extremely welcome throughout our stay. Could not fault the service or the hotel in any way. Loved it !
“Great stay”
Fab hotel - very clean - lovely staff. I have stayed at 5* hotels all over the world and this is up there with the best of them. Very welcoming staff, personal tour on arrival. If it's good enough for previous guests such as Paul Weller and Billy Conolly, it's good enough for me!
