“great hotel”
each time i am in Cork with business i stay at this hotel, it is such a unique experience with the dinning room made up in part with the fuselage of an airliner with business class seats, the vintage car in the lobby and the ambient lighting in corridors which changes colour. the staff are very friendly and the food is of a very high quality, great hotel
“review”
good place, clean comfortable and lovely room, well located next to the airport for an early flight the next day. the complimentary shuttle bus to the airport was reliable and easy. food etc all on-site, which is handy as the airport is out of the main city. the only thing was that the wifi was very poor (useless) which was important to me. otherwise, a good option for overnighting at the airport.
“Excellent hotel by the airport”
I was so impressed. My mother had stayed there last year and highly recommended Cork International Hotel. I had a 7am flight and had no problem getting to the airport by 5:30am. The shuttle from the hotel to the airport took only a minute.
“Amazing place to stay”
I arrived in Cork airport mid morning the hotel is just 3 minutes walk from the terminal but the hotel shuttle was already outside the airport and I was checking in within 5 minutes. This was my third time staying at the hotel, nice surprise I was upgraded to an executive room by Brid at the front desk. The room was very large with a balcony and had everything I needed. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, lotion and lots of LARGE!!! towels. The front desk was the "Dream Team" very helpful and always willing, they booked me a cab and gave directions to places in Cork. I already had plans to stay at another hotel for the next two nights but now wish I had stayed here insead. The Cork Airport International Hotel is amazing and I will be back.
“Great hotel by Cork airport.”
We stayed here mainly because it was next door to the airport but the hotel was delightful. The staff was so warm and welcoming. And the room and ammenities were outstanding. This was an excellent hotel and if it were in a resort area, I would have been happy to stay for a week!
“A Great Stay”
Everything was wonderful! I actually stayed there twice - once when I arrived in Cork, Ireland, and again the night before I flew back home. I would definitely stay there again.
“Great Hotel, Great Price”
The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the small Cork airport. It has a funky, ultra contemporary design ethos, which I enjoyed, though it's more IKEA than MOMA. I asked for a quiet room, and was rewarded with a huge room, a suite really, with a private balcony and wall to wall windows. The restaurant was closed so I had dinner at the bar, which was comfortable and friendly. My room was quiet as could be, the bed was big and comfy, the bathroom was clean and attractive, though not ultra luxurious. The only downside was the 5 am shuttle to the aiport, into which the driver insisted on packing about 4 more travelers, and their bags, than the van could reasonably hold. With the aiport a minute's drive away you'd think he could have made a second trip.
“EXCELLENT”
Our two night stay was outstanding. We had amazingly beautiful and comfortable rooms, and the staff could not have been more accessible and friendly. Convenience, comfort, friendly..excellent
“This is the most extraordinary hotel I have EVER stayed at!”
This is the most extraordinary hotel I have EVER stayed at! I booked it because it was the airport hotel and it was cheap. But WOW, was it FABULOUS. The design of the hotel is amazing. (Perhaps because of that) the staff were superb. It was excellent value. Indeed, I would return to Cork just to stay in this hotel again.
“impressive decor”
thought restaurant was a little cynical you could not have just one course..well you could but you still had to pay for two and @ 29.99 this was just under the 30 euro limit set by Bord Failte this seemed abit pricey compared to other establishments
