“Commodore Hotel, Cobh, County Cork, Ireland”

Wonderful staff throughout the Hotel. Rooms kept clean and service or requests were immediately answered. Great food in restaurants --fresh and cooked daily--coleslaw incredicle. There was a full breakfast each morning which was served buffet style with servers assisting everyone. The Hotel is centrally located and many historical sights with tours are available. Musical entertainment each evening. The staff is young but professional. It is a great place to visit.

Area recommendations
Small community--great tram tour of area, Titanic tour, Spike Island, Heritage Center are all part of the ambiance of Cobh (pronounced "Cove"). Tours of the Cathedral which is the key focal point from all parts of town. If you are looking to research your Irish heritage--a good place to start. The history of the area includes unknown facts about the Titanic, Lusitania, English takeover, importance of the Port and other historical Irish history not commonly known. Guides are well trained and keep the traveler interested.

“Cobh hotel with great location”

I arrived late at night in Cobh, but was greated by friendly staff who answered all my questions. The room was cozy, if somewhat outdated -- still, it suited me very well, and I would come back again without hesitation!

Area recommendations
If you are traveling in the summer months, you are in the best location for relaxing by the water!
