“ideal location in Cork”

We stayed at the Clarion for 3 nights. The underground car park was a little tricky to locate, but there were plenty of spaces available. Reception staff were welcoming , and the hotel was clean, bright and modern. The room was very warm on our arrival but air conditioning worked quickly to cool it down. Nice king size bed (mattress a bit hard),crisp cotton sheets and duvet, beautifully clean bathroom with a decent shower, tea and coffee, minibar - but be warned, as soon as you lift something out it's charged to your account. There was a digital locking safe, good hairdryer, iron and ironing board, full length mirror, nice toiletries, tv etc etc. The only thing missing was a pack of cotton buds which many hotels now offer. We didn't use the restaurants at all. The Clarion is a good 4 star hotel, in a convenient location.

“Can't wait for my next trip”

The Hotel and in particular the staff were wonderful. The restaurants were fantastic value for money serving a vast variety of foods to suit any palate and as for the breakfast - what can I say. I also adored the Leisure facilities and was so sorry I did not manage to fit in a treatment at the spa - definitely next time.

“Clarion Hotel Cork (Great Hotel)”

Our 1 night stay at Clarion Hotel in Cork, Ireland was great. The hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was in excellent condition, what you would expect for your money. Very clean and comfortable. The location is great very close to the city center. The price was good and for once it was nice to have a hotel live up to it's internet advertisement.

“Pleasantly surprised”

This was a very pleasant surprise for me as we picked this hotel since it was near my daughter's apartment in Cork while she was there studying. The hotel was clean and its staff was very, very helpful. I would certainly recommend it to anyone staying in Cork, IE.

“Top of the Morning / Evening / Night”

First time to Ireland and we were absolutely overwhelmed by the friendliness of just about everybody we came across, especially the staff in the hotel who could not do enough to help us. The former dock area of Cork is being transformed by a number of new developments of which the Clarion is one and it is a joy to wander around from the hotel to the main drag just a couple of minutes away. Bars and restaurants abound and the choice of eating and drinking establishments means you would not need to spend about 6 months in Cork to sample them all. The hotel itself boasts fine leisure facilities and the rooms are spacious and welcoming. Built just 2 years previous, the Clarion still exudes newness and is certainly value for money in my book whilst they try and attract custom. Try here sooner rather than later.

“Clarion, Cork”

Very nice hotel centrally located. Had a problem finding it initially & Cork's one-way system doesn't make it easy. Staff were really helpful & friendly. No problem having drinks removed from our bill which someone else had put onto our room ! The only minor thing I would say is that the gym equipment is a little older & worn out than I'm used too. Unfortunately didn't get chance to use the pool. Would definitely stay here again.
