“Nice location”

This was a nice place to stay and the staff were great. The rooms were nice and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is in walking distance from the town and has a great place to shop right next door. It is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Blarney Castle....just a couple minutes walk.

“Very Nice”

The hotel staff was extrememly friendly and helpful, The rooms are quaint, but very copmfortable. The hotel restaurant dinner options were a little bland, but breakfasts were great, so overall good. The staff could add more hangars in the closets, 3 just isn't enough for 2 adults. The location is perfect for visiting the castle and Cork area.

“Comfortable and affordable”

Very close to Blarney castle. Blarney woolen mills attached to the hotel. Excellent food, reasonable price. Very quiet, but we were there in the winter. Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend it. One drawback, parking was a problem, but as soon as the woolen mill closed for the day, we were able to park very close to our room.

“would happily go back here”

Our room was quite spacious and being on the front we had a pleasant outlook over the castle which was floodlit at night. Location quiet at night. Breakfast had to be taken in the restaurant next door as the hotel dining room was out of action, but this was no problem and they were able to provide us with gluten free bread. Hotel receptionist was helpful over a problem which had arisen. There is a choice of several places to eat in the village and we went into Cork by bus which took about 20minutes.

“Great location, nice old hotel”

We lucked out with this nice hotel in the most quaint of villages. A five minute walk to the Blarney Castle and short drive from Cork. An awesome castle with absolutely beautiful grounds. Beds were a bit hard but I'd stay here again. Very nice pub is just outside the from door.

“Nice family hotel”

The rooms were nice and I enjoyed the view of Blarney Castle. There were a lot of children, which since I was traveling without kids was a bit much at times. Even at the expensive dinner restraunt I had a child screaming in my ear. Good for families, but not the best for the single traveler.

“Relaxing winter 2 night stay”

Fabulous and convenient setting - very close to lovely Blarney castle and small shopping centre where all needs can be purchased. Quiet and very comfortable - windows able to be opened for fresh air and heating able to be adjusted. Restaurant great for all meals and small snacks - great staff and reasonably priced food. Next door to 'the largest Irish shop in the world'! A great place to spend many hours looking at some of the best Ireland has to offer.

“Beautiful Piece of Ireland”

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Great service. My only complaint is that the restaurant was not open for my midnight food cravings. Otherwise, just a fabulous hotel. It is very convenient for a trip to Blarney Castle. It is just a short walk away.
