“Good quality and excellent value”

The room was very good for the price with a true King size bed which was very comfortable. We could not get a table in the restaurant unless we waited until late because of a group booking which was disappointing but other than that it was entirely satisfactory.

“gorgeous property”

this hotel is a few minutes outside of blarney in tower. the place is a bargain for the huge room we had. the complex is only 5 years old and is modern and well decorated. we had a huge king room with raised platform living room with huge desk and sofa. we also had a balcony with bistro set furnishings. the room has tons of storage and large closet with cubby shelves. the bathroom was modern and so lovely complete with vessel sink. again i cannot stress enough how gorgeous it all was. we only had dinner twice in the club house later in the day but the meals were quite good.

“Not impressed with service at all.”

Some nights it was impossible to get a bathrobe or facecloths when needed. My boyfriend's robe when we did get them for 1 night had a rip in the sleeve. Why should we wear ripped clothing on vacation when we wouldn't do that at home? There was no access to ice for drinks in our room except to go to the bar. The lighting system in the room was confusing...couldn't figure out which switch turned what on. The atmosphere of the hotel was like that of any Ramada Inn. I didn't feel like I had gone to anyplace special and didn't give me the feeling of even being in Ireland. The place had no charm. Also we were out touring most days and would have loved to cone back and use the pool but it closed at 7pm, so it did not benefit us at all. A real disappointment.

“Definitely going back!”

I stayed alone in Blarney Golf Resort for business for 2 nights - the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the business executive room that i booked was beautiful - had it's own decking, very spacious room with excellent facilities; ate dinner in their lovely restaurant both nights and found restaurant staff extremely nice and helpful - they kindly looked after me quickly and discreetly considering i was eating alone and sat me at a table set for 1 which is surprising considering usually i get sat at tables set for 2 or 4 in which case the waiter has to remove 1 - 3 place settings which is embarrassing. The food was delicious, beautifully served and very tasty! The golf resort is lovely - a great place to stay! My only gripe is that it is quite a good bit out of Blarney, but then you expect this when staying in a Golf Resort so it wasnt surprising! If i'm down that way again for business, i will definitely book there again.

“Liked it overall”

Liked the Hotel. Would like to go back and stay in a lodge again. Family liked it too. Room cleaning was a little disappointing. They brought towels when I was in the shower, they did not return later that day. Towels had to last to next day. A few things broken in the room.

“Nice, chheap and close to attraction”

Surprising value. Cheapest accommodation available, but well worth the travel [8km from Cork and 5km from Blarney Castlle].

“Lovely hotel shame about food and kids.”

A lovely hotel with huge rooms. My only issues were the food offered in the main restaurant - very pricey and little choice and the fact that the place was filled with kids. So much so that a quiet swim was out of the question. I would visit again but definitely not in school holidays.

“Marginal Recommendation since it was cheap, but...”

If you're not golfing and don't think the proximity to Blarney Castle is a big deal, you're better off staying closer to Cork or in a B&B. Our "king" bed was two twin beds pushed together--a little tacky! The room was big, and the buffet breakfast was good for the price (12 Euro pp). It was probably the least friendly place we stayed in Ireland, but service was fine.
