“Great location”

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The location was great for an early morning walk. The pool was lovely, too. Parking was convenient and the staff very friendly and helpful.

“Excellent Value”

This is an excellent hotel to use as a base for the surrounding area. It is about 6k from Blarney Castle. We found this hotel was an excellent value. The rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. The room had a balcony with table and chairs. The hotel has a very nice restaurant with an excellent menu. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definately stay here again.

Area recommendations

Blarney Castle and the town of Blarney is just a few kilometers away. We drove to the coastal town of Kinsale from here. It is easy access off major motorways.

“Good quality and excellent value”

The room was very good for the price with a true King size bed which was very comfortable. We could not get a table in the restaurant unless we waited until late because of a group booking which was disappointing but other than that it was entirely satisfactory.

“Marginal Recommendation since it was cheap, but...”

If you're not golfing and don't think the proximity to Blarney Castle is a big deal, you're better off staying closer to Cork or in a B&B. Our "king" bed was two twin beds pushed together--a little tacky! The room was big, and the buffet breakfast was good for the price (12 Euro pp). It was probably the least friendly place we stayed in Ireland, but service was fine.

“gorgeous property”

this hotel is a few minutes outside of blarney in tower. the place is a bargain for the huge room we had. the complex is only 5 years old and is modern and well decorated. we had a huge king room with raised platform living room with huge desk and sofa. we also had a balcony with bistro set furnishings. the room has tons of storage and large closet with cubby shelves. the bathroom was modern and so lovely complete with vessel sink. again i cannot stress enough how gorgeous it all was. we only had dinner twice in the club house later in the day but the meals were quite good.

Area recommendations

definitely go see blarney castle. be aware the tower climb to the top is not for the claustrophobic but the view is worth it. we arrived just after they opened at 9 am and no one else was there.....as we left about an hour later the buses arrived and its more difficult to take nice pictures

“Incrediable Ireland trip great Golf”

Great Hotel very friendly and helpful the staff was the best. The best golf course I have ever played on and an even better view and a great spa. Highly recommend this place to anyone

“Very, very impressed.”

The Blarney Golf Resort was possibly the nicest hotel in this price range I have ever stayed in! The air-conditioned room was extremely spacious, modern and clean and the hotel and grounds were equally impressive. The neighbourhood was quiet and attractive. There was plenty of free parking on site although travellers without a car should be aware that it may be difficult to get to without using a taxi (it's about a 25 minute walk from the nearby village of Tower and the country road is very dangerous for walkers). I didn't use the restaurant or leisure facilities so cannot comment on these. In summary, I was delighted with my stay and will definitely be returning next time I am in Ireland.

“Great resort hotel in Blarney”

The Blarney Golf Resort was a wonderful hotel. The room was up to date as the facility is fairly new. The buffet breakfast was fantastic an reasonably priced. It's a bit off the main path (and not in Blarney as the name would indicate) in Tower but if you're looking for a quite location it's great. Didn't get to golf there but I will on my next stay. Definately going back!

Area recommendations

Blarney or Cork area are great for touring in Ireland. Golf at the Old Head in Kinsale is out of this world.
