Lovely experience and the staff were very pleasant and kind. Even the room with 'limited sea view' had a breathtaking view of what was a completely stunning ocean. A lovely week and I hope to return. The local restaurants near the hotel, sometimes a two minute walk, all served excellent food that was extremely good value. The breakfast was also wonderful and the staff were extremely attentive.

This is a very nice hotel. The people on the check in were very helpful and efficient at all times. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and all very fresh. My wife's birthday fell whilst we were staying, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers was delivered with the compliments of the staff. This was a lovely touch.

The weather was lovely, the hotel full, but the rooftop was closed for repairs. One of the primary selling features is the spectacular rooftop view and seating area. It promised leisurely evenings with views of the sea. Alas, the hotel was not ready for the season.
The twin beds in the rooms were comfortable but more in line with European 2 and 3 star hotels.
Some of the rooms are designated for smokers. Some are presumably "smoke free". We had to place a damp towel at the base of the door to keep the smoke from filtering into the room throughout the night.
The location was worth the unpleasant surprises. It's just far enough from the down town to escape the noise but close enough to provide easy walking access to all of the restaurants and shops.
It wouldn't take much to be a 4 star hotel. An upgrade to the beds, eliminating smoking, more thoughtful preparation of the facility during the off-season...

We booked the Ariti for one night as we'd been holidaying further south but needed to fly back from Corfu - and it's right at the end of the runway! However, plane noise is minimal as the hotel has excellent double-glazing. It's worth mentioning that even though it seems to be close to the airport, it's still a 15 euro taxi ride through the town in a big circle to get there.
Room/cleanliness/service all absolutely excellent, air conditioning very welcome after two weeks on a boat, the only slight negative was the food, which was really not that good in the evening, which was a buffet - overcooked pork, peculiar textured spag bol and a sausage casserole made with chunks of salami. Breakfast much better. I'd certainly recommend it for a night or two - whole fortnight perhaps not.

Great location for the independent traveller. We arrived at the airport in the early hours and walked to the hotel wheeling our trolley bags. 24 hour reception so we could sit in the lounge Which was much more comfortable than the airport. Nice breakfast at 7am and we were given our room by 9.30, though that should not be relied upon - we were lucky.

The island's elegant capital, Corfu Town centres on the Spianada, a large, well-kept green where locals play cricket, and the Liston, a 19th-century, French-designed arcade housing old-fashioned cafes. Guarded by two massive fortresses, the Italianate old town is a warren of old churches, smart boutiques and traditional tavernas. There is a busy port and large yachting marina on the waterfront. Daily excursions run across the channel to Albania.
