“Incredible Honeymoon Stay”

Before booking, my husband and I read reviews on other webpages since Expedia hadn't had any postings yet. A lot of the complaints said that this wasn't a 5 star hotel. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE. People have to realize that this is a small Greek island and star ratings are based on the surroundings. This hotel is the best in Corfu. The service was great! The staff was always really helpful, very responsive, and extremely friendly. Our room was always thoroughly cleaned, and they changed our sheets every other day. The views from the double rooms in the main building, the hotel bar, and restaurant are incredible. We recommend the doubles over the bungalows since the bungalows do not have a view of the bay. Since we noted it was our honeymoon, they greeted us with champagne, wine, roses and a fruit basket. The included breakfast buffet was good and varied. Outside of that, food/drinks are very expensive - we recommend going out for lunch/dinner. This hotel seems to attract mainly older couples thus it is peaceful, quiet, and nightlife isn't exactly kicking at the hotel. Excellent if like us, you're looking for a mainly relaxing/romantic experience. We recommend you go out to New Port for more nightlife. We also recommend asking reception to rent a boat for the day. Completely worth it! We toured a great deal of the coast. All in all, our stay was a great experience. If we ever get a chance to go to Corfu again, we'd definitley stay at Eva Palace.

“Grecotel Eva Palace Corfu - Excellent Hotel”

Grecotel Eva Palace, is a wonderful Hotel to stay in. The views from the rooms are extraordinary, in addition to the rooms and the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are very comfortable, and the balconies are amazing. They are also very clean as well. Additionally, the staff are extremely helpful, and will go out of their way to help you out with knowing Corfu better, and giving you advise on where to stay, The breakfast is great, excellent value for your money, there;s a wide variety of good clean food to chose from.

“Mediocre at best”

This is not a 5-star hotel and probably not even a 4-star hotel. Guestrooms and other hotel facilities were of mediocre quality at best. The pool area was unimpressive and the beach was small and crowded. Additionally, the hotel is located about a 15 minutes north of Corfu Town in an area that is highly developed with distasteful touristy developments. In hindsight, we would have preferred staying somewhere along Corfu's north or west coast, where one can better enjoy the island's natural beauty. Luckily we had a rental car during our stay, so we didn't have to stay at the hotel during the days and instead just ventured around the island and found much nicer spots.

“Great Honeymoon”

This hotel really does look like the photos on the website with stunning views. We booked probably the cheapest rooms and ended up looking over the car park ( One of about 6 out of probably 200) so go for seaview but it didn't bother us that much. We stayed around the pool almost every day, really nice with the bar right there. You can get out - there is a bus organised by the hotel to Corfu town everyday for 10 Euros each at 10am coming back 2pm, we took a taxi back (20 Euros) and stayed later. The hotel seems to cater for mostly couples of a certain age or younger honeymoon couples so was fairly quiet, this suited us but possibly not everybody. We had breakfast included -fantastic terrace view in the morning but only took dinner once - too pricey, instead we walked up the hill to the Pelador bar for something more local. The view is fantastic, really fantastic, the people are very friendly, food is half price of the hotel and it was always very quiet - we suspected most hotel guests must be on full board or couldn't get up the hill , several steep sections might put you off. Do not miss this place. We have been told that the hotel may be the best on the island, it certainly lived up to our expectations and we will go back.
