Great hotel, a diamond in a rather disappointing resort. Staff and facilities made up for it and fortunately the hotel is in the best part of town.

This is a truly beautiful hotel and our room with view over the beach was amazing. We appreciated lovely clean towels for use outside and in and our room was meticulously cleaned on a daily basis. The choice at breakfast was extensive and we had to hold ourselves back from over-indulging! Despite there being a sign to say that towels would be removed from sunloungers around the pool if people did not return within 30 minutes, no one ever checked so all week the best ones were taken by the most selfish people who very often weren't there!! So annoying grrrr. A beautiful place nonetheless.

Great hotel if into diving & choice of tavernas
Hotel was nice, rooms were generous & nicely sorted. Balcony was spacious. Just a little sterile and lacked atmosphere, except at breakfast where it was buzzing. Outside the hotel there were a number of good eateries, all pretty close but no other nightlife as such. The dive centre was excellent & conveniently located.

A part of the paradise
This a 4 stars hotel that easily should be ranked 5 stars. Rooms , restaurants, pools and bars are from a different word. I stayed in both classic and superior rooms, the main difference would be the higher stories which will ensure a better view , yet u are already looking to the heaven from the classic floors. Walking distance from the best restaurants of the area, and just down a water sport agent to help enjoy the turquoise sea. Will defiantly bring my family and visit back soon.

Beautiful place. Just what one might expect for the price and perhaps more. Excellent breakfast buffet and fabulous views from everywhere including our room. Loved the “rocky beach” which consisted of little platforms for chairs and a ladder into the deep clear blue sea. Wow. Not into pools but it was nice. One downside was that many of the chairs were broken. Odd for such a high end joint.

The hotel has been newly refurbished, the staff went out of their way to please, everything was clean and they even sourced decaf coffee (which is a rarity in Greece beyond instant Nescafé)!

The hotel is very good The view is amazing Breakfast is good with cheese pizza and more. It was little problem with the service room about the food that i order . But everything was perfect Recommended.

What a view!!!
Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with the most amazing views!! Pool & both beaches were all excellent and the bar food was great & reasonably priced. Our room was fabulous with great views overlooking g the bay’ The only negative for us was h the breakfast - not much choice and the same thing each day… A fantastic first experience of this hidden gem!!

This the best you will get ? The hotel is fantastic with views that are unrivalled? The staff a very friendly and are very professional. The only thinh i can say i was a bit disappointed with was the breakfast i thought the choice was good but the quality of the food was poor? That was at breakfast only . The rest is perfect you will love it ?

Excellent trip, about 20 of us at the hotel. We were well looked after, service was great and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of stuff to do nearby and we will all be back again at some point. We only ate in the hotel one evening and were not blown away by the evening food. However so many restaurants within 5 minutes, so no problem

Location can’t be beat
The location of this hotel CAN NOT be beat. It’s steps from the grotta and has the best view of palaeokastritsa. We walked from one end of the bay to the other and it was by far the best location. It looks like they’re renovating floor by floor, and unfortunately we were not in one of the rooms that had been upgraded, but we spent so little time in the room it almost didn’t matter. The room itself was not great. personally I didn’t really care about that, but the view from the balcony was TO DIE FOR. Just like the pictures online. I was actually shocked at how gorgeous it was. In late September the sun sets right outside the window, directly between two hills on the other side of the bay. Perfection

The property is in a really beautiful location on one of the most gorgeous beaches! However, the room itself was dated. The bathroom in particular seemed quite old and small - when you shut the bathroom door it is about 1cm from knicking the toilet and to brush your teeth you're practically standing touching the toilet with your legs. The location made up for it but the rooms were not as nice as I was hoping.

The staff was amazing!! Super kind and helpfull, location is great and the view is absolutely perfect. The only problem I had is the lights not so bright in the room, but I recommend this hotel for everyone.

Our stay was amazing! We were greeted, taken to our upgraded room, no additional charge, given a welcome refreshing lemonaide at the pool bar. The room was with a private balcony. The room was gorgeous. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Amazing location
Great stay in late September. Hotel is perfectly located for enjoying the sea - swimming and snorkelling on both sides of the hotel. Pool area was nice with great views and the private balcony was good for an evening drink. Room was comfortable, and excellent breakfast options. Lots to see in the area with boat trips from the beach and a bus stop outside.

We just had a perfect week at Akrotiri. Every day we looked forward to the views, breakfasts, pools , beaches (very unique private rocky beach and great public beach), many restaurants and markets in a walking distance.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Akrotiri. The hotel is a jewel on the Paleokasistri peninsula and sea; views are absolutely breathtaking. Pool and beach are very nice (would be great if by staying at the hotel, the beach chairs were included). We were admiring the photos taken of the hotel hanging in the lobby (probably circa 1960) and realized much of the hotel hasn't changed in 60 years . . . the hotel management should consider upgrading the furniture in the hotel lobby and very large lounging room consisting of pool table, TV, sofas and rifle over the fireplace. A lot of large empty spaces could be better utilized to serve families, couples and other travelers. Be sure to visit nearby La Grotta while staying at the Akrotiri. We would recommend staying here to our family & friends.

Superb location. Excellent staff. But...
Sensational location with amazing views. Close to restaurants and short steps to the beach. Excellent pool area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would benefit from an interior update. Breakfast is just ok. Could be improved. With these changes, Akitori would be even better.
