"Returned from 1w stay yesterday"
Approx 10-15mins from airport. Don't get the Shuttle bus - we waited 2h for the bus to pick up from 3 more flights and we could have jumped in a taxi for 25E.
Hotel as we expected since we booked for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing week away.
Room basic, but nice and clean. Beds comfortable. Good maid service, but don't expect those little extras like novelty towel shaping on the bed or choccies on your pillow. Plenty of storage. Take your own hair dryer - poor power output. There is a fridge in the room, but only one bottle of water is supplied.
Food good. The pasta and pizza bar at the beach serves freshly cooked food at lunchtime, whereas the main restaurant only provides one freshly cooked food area for all meals. No crepes, smoothies, no ice sculptures, no drinks on entry, no drinks at the table. Self service except for coffee pots at breakfast time.
The bar drinks are basic, but nice. Cocktails poor, but the service is good. Lots of tea/coffee and there is a kettle and tea/coffee making equipment in the room.
Don't waste on evening at the a la carte. The main course is reasonable and the dessert on a par with the main If you are used to more up market all inclusive, then this is not for you. It is good, we enjoyed ourselves, but it restaurant, but the rest of the food was trying too hard. It was over cooked, dry and not worth going.
pales in comparison to most. Think basic, quiet, relaxing, nice food, fabulous views from the main bar area, but it lacks any wow factor.
