“Pretty nice for the price”

First thing to note: Messongi, the village where the hotel is, is great - but it's at the south end of the island, a 25-euro, 45-minute taxi drive away. When we stayed, it was beginning to get hot, and we couldn't figure out the air conditioner, so the nights were pretty warm in our room. Breakfast is really good, dinner is OK but not spectacular, but the price is what makes it worth it.

“Great Place but Lacking in 2 Aspects”

Great rooms, clean, very nice pool with patio and bar, restaurant food pretty tasty. Tricky b/c the hotel claims to include air conditioning as an ammenity but really it costs extra to have it turned on. Also it is not a beach front hotel. It's pretty close, just down the street but chairs cost money and the beach is very rocky. The beach is also not very big. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Gemini.
