The hotel itself is nice and located on walking only streets with shops and restaurants. After check in, the safe in our room didn't work so they moved us to a different room. In the new room the safe didn’t work either but the shower was clean and not mold filled so we stayed. After waking up the next morning, my husband and I had several bites from bed bugs.

Great location and spacious rooms
The hotel is at the heart or the city historic district. It's a well remodeled old building with nice size rooms. There is an art gallery in the lobby area. The employees are really helpful and nice. The only bad thing is that the room can be noisy if on the street side. Great complementary breakfast

Lovely lobby, rooms not so elegant
Stayed for six days. Córdoba is wonderful. Hotel has a fabulous lobby, but many of the rooms are small and dark. Staff were helpful. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy at night.

Renovated classic hotel
Well-renovated classic hotel. We enjoyed th stay. The structure is quite unique and the room is old style as well. It is located at the heart of the city, and wasn't too far to walk to 'nueva cordoba'. Breakfast was good Overall it was satisfying.

A grand character hotel , great central location
I am a first time traveller to Cordoba but on my third visit to Argentina. I wanted a hotel with character and central. The Merit ticked all the boxes for me. It has been a hotel for over 100 years and now restored and modernised. It is located in a walking mall so the Taxi will only take you to the end of the street about 20 metres away. If arriving by air take an airport hire car USD16, better than a cab. Local artists work adorn the public areas added a nice culture.

Decent hotel, pleasant staff, 15-minute walk from bus station, and even closer to most attractions. Good continental breakfast. Room and bathroom were a bit smaller than we might have liked, but still a nice place.

Basic ammenities hotel, great for 1 to 3 days.
The location of the hotel was great, and on a peatonal street which was great for day time but sadly busy all night. The noise level at night made it very difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet was open late until 11am, which was convienent for people on vacation. The breakfast buffet was simple, but was plentiful enough to sustain you until lunch time.

I came with the night bus from Mendoza in the morning. I just wanted to leave my backback before getting some breakfast, but they said they could have to room ready in 30 min for me. I still prefered to go out for breakfast and have a look around though. They also offered me to check out later with out any extra charge. Used the laundery service and my cloths got real nice clean again. :D Very friendly staff. Great roof terrace.

stayed here one night on our way to an Estancia.Located in the middle of the shopping area and close to the main plaza.the hotels common areas were pleasant enough and the breakfast was ok but the room was small and absolutely freezing and this coming from someone who loves to sleep in a cold room.Staff was matter of fact ,but helpful if pressed and spoke some english.

Cordova´s most friendly staff
The staff was especially helpful. They are very nice people. Complimentary internet access was much appreciated. The fact that the hotel is not on a car accessible street but rather on a pedestrian street was a bit inconvenient but made for a more quiet experience.

If anyone is considering a stay over 3 days a single room is not advised, a person would have to live out of their suitcase no room to store your everyday things, also if traveling alone,,, the bed is small [ and I am not a big person ] the shower in my opinion is unsafe because of the confined place, easy for someone to slip and hurt themselves especially seniors. The staff are friendly and accomdating otherwise it was a pleasant place to stay if traveling to Cordoba Argentina.

Too noisy
The staff are fantastic here, but unfortunately they are working for a hotel that is noisy. We would not recommend staying here as at night you can hear every footstep of people walking along the corridors and every word they say. The room we were in had the air conditioning ,full blasting us every 10 minutes all night long.The batteries were dead and the back of the hand control seemed to be glued shut,so we couldnt change it or turn it off. There was only 1 pillow per person,we like two pillows each. The breakfast was very basic, no hot options. Be aware this hotel is also on a no traffic road ,so you will be dropped at the endof the road by the taxi with your bags.

A lovely hotel
I booked to stay here for two nights, but extended my stay because I was so comfortable. I booked a single room but was given a double at no extra cost - both the room and it's en-suite bathroom were clean and well maintained. A TV with cable channels was a real bonus! The hotel has a lovely design, with an open lobby decorated with theatrical masks. There is also a small outside area with a fountain - a nice place to relax. Breakfast is included and is good - a nice variety of pastries, toast, etc. The hotel is a short taxi ride from the bus station and a short walk to the main plaza.

Twin beds might be a tight if you are tall. Second is just a suggestion: I noted that there is a balcony at the fourth floor, some guests like to sit down and relax. I would add more tables/chairs and some plants...

This is a great hotel, you should stay here!
I loved staying at this hotel! I wanted to have a break from staying in hostels - I chose this hotel because it was a good price and booked the cheapest single room. The hotel moved me into a double - a bonus! The room was clean, comfortable, had air-conditioning, a TV, a safe, and plenty of space. The bathroom was also clean and spacious with huge mirrors. The breakfast is included and is good - a nice selection. There is a strange system of having to collect a voucher from reception to give in at the dining room, I'm not sure why you have to do this as its included in the price. The hotel is well-designed - there is a lovely lobby which is open through all floors to the roof so is really light and airy, it has tables and chairs, and pretty decorations, so is a good place to sit and chat (or work, as I did), there is also a small patio outside with a water feature. I was able to access wifi in my room as well as the dining room, lobby and patio. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is good, central, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and bus station (a taxi from the bus station cost me 10 pesos). I enjoyed my stay here and ended up booking a couple of extra nights with no problems. I recommend staying here...

A strange mixture
The lobby and design - rooms are arranged around a central closed courtyard - are impressive but the rooms are very basic and the bathrooms, if you are unfortunate enough to have one with an open shower arrangement, are very impractical. Breakfast buffet is limited - no fruit - and the breakfast room unappealing. However the staff were very helpful and the location is good for exploring the main historical buildings in Cordoba.

Convenient and Functional
What a find! I booked the cheapest and probably the smallest room (with certainly the smallest bed!), but it was more than adequate and very functional. Everything worked, and I could even Skype using WiFi from my room! The towels and the room refreshed in the evening - something usually only done in more expensive hotels. The staff were a delight - helpful, charming and super-accommodating. Great location to be able to walk to the bus station and the town center. Having worked in and managed hotels for 25+ years, I highly recommend this gem to anyone for a viist to this wonderful city. Thank you!

Small but clean, professional, chic and convenient
An excellent value for a downtown hotel. Hotel staff is very friendly, attentive, professional and helpful. Great for European and Argentinean standards, but small and limited for Americans. It is a beautifully remodeled historic building with original elevators, floors and fixtures. Comfortable, tasteful, convenient to many central tourist destinations and even the state university, but small. I would return alone on a business trip, but not with my young family.

Victoria Hotel in Cordoba-Superb location.
A relatively old, very well maintained hotel. Public areas and elevators are well designed and maintained, and the location is perfect for sightseeing and restaurants. Friendly staff, overall a very good value.

Great base for Cordoba
We stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the hotel. The location is just a short walk along a pedestrian precinct from the main squares and attractions. The hotel is quite modern, staff were courteous and professional, and the rooms, while not ultra luxurious, were clean, comfortable and modern. There was cable tv in the rooms and the wifi worked well despite being a little slow. All in all a good bet for a few days in Coroba.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations which meant, for us, it was dusty and sometimes noisy. Our room was bright and comfortable but the bathroom had nowhere to hang anything and very slippery, dangerous floor without shower curtain. Breakfast was included which meant we needed to (wait and) pick up a voucher for the adjoining resaurant which, in turn, provided a tiny, limited breakfast.

Las habitaciones muy chicas, el baño igual . El hotel se encuentra sobre una peatonal, por lo que ningún taxi pasa por la puerta . Si tienes mucho equipaje es un problema . El personal muy atento y el desayuno es completo.

Meu cliente gostaria de avisar que esta escolha de hotel, que ele não conhecia, foi o pior hotel que já ficou na Argentina e um dos piores que conheceu. Lençóis muito sujos, com pelos fuligem, “cola” no lençol, manchas de sangue; banheiro com as paredes e chão sujos, sem box ou cortina; ar condicionado muito barulhento / quebrado; sem qualquer isolamento acústico, um elevador somente para todo o hotel;

El Hotel está ubicado en una calle peatonal, los taxis te dejan a media cuadra, no es un problema mayor considerando el beneficio de estar en el centro del centro de Córdoba. El Staff atiende muy bien, la habitación es pequeña y el baño mas pequeño aún.Existen habitaciones mas grandes pero no había disponibilidad. El aseo de la habitación sólo es regular.

De bueno para abajo.
En sisntesis, no fue muy bueno. Para empezar, la cama no era queen size, por lo menos, me he hospedado en otros mérit y la cama era lo que prometia lo contratado, acá, NO. Habitacion provista por una sola almohada por lado, tuve que pedir otro juego. El Baño: No habia vaso para enjuagarse. El bidet perdia agua por debajo. Y hasta parece que al mejor precio tambien le restaban el WiFi, ya que tuve que ir a reclamar la clave para accesar. Conozco bastante bien la cadena Amerian y Merit, y esta vez me desilucionò. Estuve en el Villa Maria, El San Telmo, y ya habia estado en este, pero evidentemente debe ser por el servicio donde hice la reserva, ya que de otro modo no me explico que pudop haber pasado.
