“Modern 4star comfort close to Cordoba's historic centre.”
Having stayed in its sister hotel in Granada two years ago, this hotel groups product was known to us and very much liked. This new property is superbly located at the end of the Roman Bridge opposite the Mezquita (Cathedral). The rooms blend modern standards with locally themed decor to provide a relaxing and individual style. Beds were excellent and the bathroom was tastefully fitted. Views from the room were good enough to be a postcard. We stayed for breakfast which was presented in buffet style. However the abundance of the freshest bread, pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, juices and cooked food as well as a number of coffee and beverage makers around the dining room made for a welcoming and delicious meal. Staff were friendly, multi-lingual and very prompt in responding to our requests and questions. We would recommend this hotel.
“Nice hotel with good location”
Stayed here for 2 nights at beginning of August. Ideally situated to walk across nicely renovated bridge to old town - 15 minutes away. Room spacious, clean and quiet with free safe and useful minibar, beds a bit hard. Small pool with complimentary towels, limited number of sunbeds but people generally only stayed for a short time, so not a problem. Friendly helpful staff, perhaps partly because we spoke Spanish. At over 10 Euros each, breakfast was disappointing, with hindsight would have gone to one of the cafes nearby instead. Hotel has own car park but we managed to park on the road free of charge. We'd be happy to use this hotel again if we revisited Córdoba.
“great view”
this hotel is in an excellent position a ten minute walk from the city centre and is well signposted (yellow signs) for car drivers. the view from our room, over the river to the mezquita, was wonderful day and night. late night chatting beneath our room caused minor irritation the breakfast, was of excellent quality and if you have a hearty appetite well worth the money air con was off for some unknown reason
“Good Value”
The hotel was great value for money and we stayed two nights, it is a short walk over the bridge( one of the main features of Cordoba)and you are right in the centre. This was a larger hotel compared to the "boutique" hotels in the old part of the town.It was easy to find in contrast to trying to drive into the medieval centre, which is not really ideal for driving through. Parked on the street as others recommended and no problem. The pool was nice after a day marching around.
“Well positioned hotel”
Well located just across the river from the main attractions, easily reachable by car. Pool was a welcome feature. Rooms were quiet with effective air conditioning. Price reasonable considering hotel quality. Would definitely go back.
“Ideal Location for Car Drivers”
Easy to reach with no narrow awkward streets to contend with and only 2 or 3 minutes walk from the city centre.Reception very friendly and helpful.
“Convenient location”
Great views from the rooftop over the Gaudalquivir to the Mezqita.. short walk to the old city via the Roman Bridge. Very convenient if arriving by car. Hotel was in the process of being extended at our visit (Feb 2010) so pool was out of action.
“Shame about the noise”
This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are a good size, it was very cheap for what it offered, most rooms have good views, the staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast, although expensive, is very good. BUT in our room there was a noise so loud it was like being next to a ship's engine room. The first night it turned off at 11.00 pm so, as they had no suitable rooms for us to move to (only smoking rooms) we chose to stay, but on the second night the noise went on all night. I think we were unlucky - the noise didn't seem to be anywhere else - but it did colour the way we think of the hotel
“Good hotel at reasonable price.”
Good clean hotel in a convenient location, just 5 mins walk across Roman bridge to historical centre. Easy to find in car and on street parking possible.
