I cannot recommend Links House highly enough! We arrived and were greeted by a glass of Port, followed by a short tour of the stunning property. Robbie & his staff then organised a taxi for us to attend a wedding with no hassle or fuss. The following day, we were the only two guests at the hotel. Again, Robbie & his team went above and beyond to ensure that we still felt welcome & cared for! After checking out 4 of the free DVD rentals, we mentioned that we wanted to sit in the stunning courtyard & have a cheese plate we were going to arrange. Within 5minutes, Robbie had delivered to our room a platter, cheese knives, nectarines, crackers, 2 more glasses of Port, Aeroguard & a lantern. We were just BLOWN away by how accommodating they all were. The night manager even called in for a few hours to ensure we were well taken care of. The following morning we were greeted with the most amazing breakfast, complete with coffee & juice.
As I mentioned before, I cannot recommend this hotel higher. The room was lovely with modern, country charm; the property was well maintained & rang true to the 1920s construction with some modern ammenities updated; and the staff were the best I've ever encountered.
Great to have a bottle of wine and compliment it with a lovely cheese platter by the fire on a cold Sunday afternoon. The hotel had a feeling of old world charm and enabled us to relax. We subsequently had a brisk walk around the property before dining at one of Bowral's top restaurants.

We stayed at the Fitzroy Inn after days of long drives to and from Adelaide. It was a relaxing 2 nights, the room was cozy, the property itself was peaceful and quiet. The gardens around the Inn provide a little sanctuary away from the busy highway. We were given a tour of the underground cellar by one of the staff member, which was beautifully well kept. love learning about the history of the place.
Overall, we had a pleasing experience and were also rejuvenated after the super long drives. We would recommend the Fitzroy In for those who are looking for a short break from the busyness of the city or even for a weekend away. As for me, I would definitely come back for a little break next time.
Thoroughly enjoyed short stay at Peppers Manor, Mt Broughton, staff knowledge excellent with their surroundings, facilities and were only too willing to assist.
Excellent surroundings, and very comfortable accommodation. Meals excellent. Beautiful old building and gardens made for a very enjoyable stay.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was well set out, the shower was good, the TV/DVD player worked well, had onsite parking (including some undercover), free newspaper each day, free WiFi, plus had a small fridge and ironing board.
The hotel was easy to find on the main road to Bowral and was about 3 to 4 minutes drive from the main shopping strip. The hotel itself was very quiet, although you could hear a small amount of traffic noise (ask for a room away from the road to avoid that).
There is lots to do in Bowral and in nearby areas (eg Berrima).
We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.
