I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and was impressed straight away by how incredibly helpful the staff were. I was attending a competition at the Ballerup Super Arena, I mentioned this to the receptionist and without hesitation she printed me a route planner detailing which busses I would need to catch in order to reach my destination. Excellent customer service!
My room was great and the hotel in general was very clean, the room also boasted a lovely view.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.
Just as the name says- it makes common sense to stay with these folks- I now have a regular stop in Copenhagen. The property is a few miles out of town and easy to get to on bus or by car. Staff is great and the room makes sense. If you want high class digs and are willing to spend lots of money- this place is not for you. If you want to live in conditions that are pretty much like everybodys home- you got it right. The staff is multi-ligual, there is a small store nearby and an Mc Doogles too. Would stay there again- no questions.
Scandic Glostrup we found to be clean withfriendly staff. Lovely eat all you want breakfasts. Small bar area and evening meal restaurant.Small shop.Free internet point.Sauna and fitness centre in basement.Play room. Not much to see and do in area as it is on a main road on a small industrial type estate.Buses stop a few hundred yards away.Main station for s-trains/buses is only 3 stops. 8 stops on train to Copenhagen centre.
Although staying in this MOTEL was pleasing for me becauce of nice staff and good breakfast atmosfear there was not phone in the rooms. and you need to take BUs- Train to reach the central station and it takes time. But every other things was pretty good.
Situated within a short drive from the airport and the city centre, Wittrup Motel A/S is a good value for money hotel near …More
Good for money. Not in center. But I has to be there.
I have one problem: Internet. 1-st: It's not free.
They use Swisscom.
2-nd I was not able to extend my connection on the next 24 hours. The payment system doesn't work. So I was 48 hours without Internet access in Kobenhavn.
This is unusual for this hi-tech country.
This is a great place to stay. It is out of the city so you don't get the noise and traffic of Copenhagen, and parking is really easy and free on weekends. The train station is a five minute walk to get you to Copenhagen (and from there you can take the train to other popular places like Malmo (in Sweden) or Helsingor (Hamlet's castle). A day trip to Copenhagen (via the train) from the hotel is about $10 round trip. It takes you to the central train station, which is in the heart of downtown Copenhagen. Don't worry about driving in the city with this cozy hotel!
