“New Years Eve in Copenhagen's Wake Up Hotel”

This hotel was good value for money. It is not in the centre of the city but if you didnt mind a 10min walk it was still fine. We were checked in early and our two rooms were next to each other...brilliant!!! The hotel was efficiently run, clean, well maintained and very functional. I would suggest it suits a younger tourist more than an older one but probably suits all. I truly recommend this hotel

“Cheap and excellent location.”

Excellent location only 5 mins walk from the central station means that within half an hour of arrival at the airport you can be in your room. All of the major city centre sights are within 10mins walk including Tivoli park which is magical in Christmas time. The Little Mermaid is approx 30mins walk along the river and is slightly underwhelming but a necessary sight all the same. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel although the costs a reasonable 60DKK per person. We opted for the Anderson Bakery which is next to the Tivoli entrance as this serves amazing bread, cakes and coffee.

“Clean, comfortable, convenient, functional & stylish value hotel”

Copenhagen isn't a cheap city and as such this was a great value hotel. The rooms were quite small but they were very clean, comfortable & the glass shower pod/bathroom was both functional & stylish. The bed was comfortable. It certainly served it's purpose as a convenient, clean and comfortable place to sleep for a couple of nights at one of the best prices in town. The rooms cost more as you pay for a better view the higher up the hotel you go. However as the November weather resulted in a lot of fog, we don't feel we missed out on this from our location on the 2nd floor & saved ourselves a few krone. We never ate breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on the dining room. The location is convenient - about a 10 minute walk from Central Station and the Tivoli Gardens, 15 from the main shopping streets of Strodet. As with much of Copenhagen the main attractions are all within a flat walk. I believe the hotel will also hire bikes at 115kr per day, should you wish to join the locals in cycling around.

“Clean and comfortable but don't expect any frills”

Basic but very clean and modern, ask for a heaven room as they have great views. The only downside is there is a bit of a walk into town, but only 10mins from Tivoli and the station. Great value hotel but you get stung if you want food or drink, prices in shop at hotel are extortionate. £3 for a can of coke!

“Basic reliable accommodation”

Rooms are very small, but certainly ample for a basic hotel stay. The bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. The showers are wonderful! Check in and check out procedures went smoothly. The hotel offers only a continental breakfast for a fee, but next door is the Tivoli hotel and congress centre and it offers a lovely buffet breakfast for a fee of $75 krone each. The WakeUp Copenhagen is extremely easy to access from the bus system and we would stay there again.

“The perfect short term hotel”

Slick, modern, high tech amenities, stunning bathroom. Did not eat in dining room but it is a show stopper design.

“Clean, modern and good value for money”

A simple, no-frills hotel, but very clean, comfortable and efficiently organized, only 10 min walk from Copenhagen central train station.

“Great deal!”

In exchange for not having a phone in your room you get a big bed, a much nicer shower than in most European hotels, a bigger, more modern room, and wifi. All for very cheap! The staff is friendly, and they have snacks available 24/7 in the lobby which can make a great breakfast, or midnight snack. Terrific! Would definitely stay here again. About 10 minute walk from the train station. Unfortunately, it's the opposite side from the sites you want to see, but that's OK.
