“Good Hotel”

The location of the hotel is very central and close to all local attractions. Walking distance from Copenhagen Central Station. The room was comfortable and had all the modern conveniences but a single room size is quite small in my opinion. The hotel does not have a gym or a sauna but can be used in another scandic hotel which is 200 meters away from this hotel. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen City Centre.

“Location,location,location,and great breakfasts”

A few minutes walk from the station,Tivoli gardens, tourist information, sight seeing and normal busses, and main square. Many restaurants close by .Even with all this the hotel is quiet .Brilliant location. Old style building frontage hides a clean modern Danish style interior. Good sized comfy rooms, big shower. Breakfast buffet a delight, lots of choice, healthy options and a cooked breakfast too. Friendly ,helpful staff.

Area recommendations
New haven, if you like "trendy " areas to peoplewatch and have a drink. Christiana free town, for hippies style. Canal trip, see lots of historic buildings. Tivoli Gardens, but dont expect a Disney experience. There are however some big rides.

“Convenient and clean, but definitely not 4-star quality”

The Scandic Webers is extremely convenient for Copenhagen Central station and the Tivoli Gardens. It is not a bad hotel - it is clean and the staff were fine; BUT based on the room we were allocated when we stayed in late June 2011 it is definitely NOT 4-star quality. Our room was tiny! (And that's the opinion of an Englishman not an American!). The room was also sparse (there wasn't any room for a chair or wardrobe/drawers); the bathroom was a 'wet room' - i.e. shower onto the floor (no bath); and there was periodically a very strange noise coming from the ceiling! This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel (having stayed in many across Europe and America). There was no luxury at all. It also did not compare with the 4-star Scandic that myself and my partner had previously stayed at in Stockholm. Now I appreciate that Copenhagen is an expensive city to visit but this hotel is definitely not worth the rate we paid to stay.

“Recommended Hotel”

The hotel was a short walk from the Central Station and was easy to find. Check in was a breeze and very welcoming. Room was basic, a good size, clean and comfortable but would be nice to be able to make a cuppa in-room. But otherwise room had everything you needed for a short stay. Breakfast included in the price was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice. Good hotel by European standards. Would stay again when in Copenhagen.

Area recommendations
Visited Roskilde (25minute train trip) to learn about and visit the Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Church. A great day trip. Spent remaining time in Copenhagen City area visiting excellent museum (free!) and looking at wonderful buildings all an easy walk. Great shopping strip for those looking to spend a few dollars.

“Broom cupboard sold as a Queen”

The refurbishment on this old warhorse of a hotel is is tired and lacklustre. We bought two queen rooms and both had small double beds. In one room there was barely room for two people. The lavatory in the small bathroom failed on the last day and was not fixed by the time of our departure. Breakfast buffet was very good.

“Excellent and beautiful hotel”

This hotel was excellent. Great location--a few minutes' walk to the central train station and Tivoli. The breakfast had a great variety of food including hot and cold dishes. Our room was beautiful, with classic Scandinavian design and was quite comfortable. Staff was very friendly and even asked whether we needed codes for WiFi and how many computers we had. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. We definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Copenhagen for a brief trip or extended stay.

Area recommendations
This hotel was located very close to the Copenhagen central train station, and the Tivoli amusment park. The neighborhood was safe and people were friendly. Also nearby is the city hall and tourist information office. The famous Nyhavn (New Harbour) is also within walking distance from the hotel - maybe a 10 minute walk. Even the Carlsberg brewery isn't too far - about a 15-20 minute walk. Overall, this hotel was in a great, central location and very convenient for early morning or late night trains into or out of the city.
Dining
There are several dining options in the area nearby this hotel. Jorgenson's Boefhaus is a chain Scandinavian meat- and salad bar- place. We also found a nice buffet pizza- and salad- place nearby, Astor pizza. There is also a fancy Italian restaurant on the next block - all these restaurants are on the same street as the hotel. 7-11 also on the same street is a good location to buy beer, wine, snacks, sandwiches and pastry.

“Great for wandering the city”

Great location, 5 minutes from the centre of the city and literally round the corner from the station. Our room was very quiet as it faced onto the courtyard. The generous and interesting choice at breakfast meant we missed lunch most days (very valuable as Coenhagen is quite expensive). Small but clean and functional rooms. You can use the gym and sauna at the sister hotel (200m away) if you want to.

Area recommendations
Highlight for us was the Rundeturn tower, wandering Christianhavn and Norrebro. Tivoli is lovely in the evening.

“A "four star" hotel with service to match.”

This imposing four star hotel is situated five minutes from the main Copenhagen station and ten minutes from the town hall square and the Tivoli Gardens. Easy access to buses, shops, restauants, etc. Despite being in such a central position, we were not disturbed by noise and slept well in the large air conditioned bedroom, which was extremely comfortable, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was a feast. Mountains of food from the breakfast buffet from 6.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in the spacious dining room.. The small ground floor cafe/bar was attractive with friendly staff. There was a small children's play area on the ground floor as well as PCs with internet access and a small shop. Check out was 12 noon but there was a securely locked baggage room where hotel guests could leave their baggage if they had several hours to wait for their flight, etc. Can't wait to visit Copenghagen and the Scandic Webers Hotel again.

Area recommendations
Copenhagen is not very large and you can get around easily on foot. Visit the Town Hall, the University, Nyhavn (where Hans Christian Andersen once lived). Walk along Strøget, not forgetting the many side streets filled with tiny shops, full of history. It's impossible to see everything but inner Copenhagen being so small means that you can get to know it well. Amid all of this, there are wonderful churches, often holding musical recitals in the afternoon or evening..
When to go
July and August. Copenhagen is wonderful in the summer - but remember that summers in Copenhagen are not very long.
