“Good Hotel”
The location of the hotel is very central and close to all local attractions. Walking distance from Copenhagen Central Station. The room was comfortable and had all the modern conveniences but a single room size is quite small in my opinion. The hotel does not have a gym or a sauna but can be used in another scandic hotel which is 200 meters away from this hotel. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and I recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen City Centre.
“Location,location,location,and great breakfasts”
A few minutes walk from the station,Tivoli gardens, tourist information, sight seeing and normal busses, and main square. Many restaurants close by .Even with all this the hotel is quiet .Brilliant location. Old style building frontage hides a clean modern Danish style interior. Good sized comfy rooms, big shower. Breakfast buffet a delight, lots of choice, healthy options and a cooked breakfast too. Friendly ,helpful staff.
“Convenient and clean, but definitely not 4-star quality”
The Scandic Webers is extremely convenient for Copenhagen Central station and the Tivoli Gardens. It is not a bad hotel - it is clean and the staff were fine; BUT based on the room we were allocated when we stayed in late June 2011 it is definitely NOT 4-star quality. Our room was tiny! (And that's the opinion of an Englishman not an American!). The room was also sparse (there wasn't any room for a chair or wardrobe/drawers); the bathroom was a 'wet room' - i.e. shower onto the floor (no bath); and there was periodically a very strange noise coming from the ceiling! This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel (having stayed in many across Europe and America). There was no luxury at all. It also did not compare with the 4-star Scandic that myself and my partner had previously stayed at in Stockholm. Now I appreciate that Copenhagen is an expensive city to visit but this hotel is definitely not worth the rate we paid to stay.
“Recommended Hotel”
The hotel was a short walk from the Central Station and was easy to find. Check in was a breeze and very welcoming. Room was basic, a good size, clean and comfortable but would be nice to be able to make a cuppa in-room. But otherwise room had everything you needed for a short stay. Breakfast included in the price was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice. Good hotel by European standards. Would stay again when in Copenhagen.
“new year trip in Copenhagen”
Good value hotel very central but bar closed on N Yer's eve.
“Broom cupboard sold as a Queen”
The refurbishment on this old warhorse of a hotel is is tired and lacklustre. We bought two queen rooms and both had small double beds. In one room there was barely room for two people. The lavatory in the small bathroom failed on the last day and was not fixed by the time of our departure. Breakfast buffet was very good.
“would like to return”
The hotel in Copenhagen was near the railway terminus. Quiet and very central.
“Excellent and beautiful hotel”
This hotel was excellent. Great location--a few minutes' walk to the central train station and Tivoli. The breakfast had a great variety of food including hot and cold dishes. Our room was beautiful, with classic Scandinavian design and was quite comfortable. Staff was very friendly and even asked whether we needed codes for WiFi and how many computers we had. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. We definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Copenhagen for a brief trip or extended stay.
“Great for wandering the city”
Great location, 5 minutes from the centre of the city and literally round the corner from the station. Our room was very quiet as it faced onto the courtyard. The generous and interesting choice at breakfast meant we missed lunch most days (very valuable as Coenhagen is quite expensive). Small but clean and functional rooms. You can use the gym and sauna at the sister hotel (200m away) if you want to.
“A "four star" hotel with service to match.”
This imposing four star hotel is situated five minutes from the main Copenhagen station and ten minutes from the town hall square and the Tivoli Gardens. Easy access to buses, shops, restauants, etc. Despite being in such a central position, we were not disturbed by noise and slept well in the large air conditioned bedroom, which was extremely comfortable, clean and well furnished. Breakfast was a feast. Mountains of food from the breakfast buffet from 6.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. in the spacious dining room.. The small ground floor cafe/bar was attractive with friendly staff. There was a small children's play area on the ground floor as well as PCs with internet access and a small shop. Check out was 12 noon but there was a securely locked baggage room where hotel guests could leave their baggage if they had several hours to wait for their flight, etc. Can't wait to visit Copenghagen and the Scandic Webers Hotel again.
