“CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!!”
The hotel location is excellent. We stayed at this hotel for three nights. We walked all over Copenhagen and even had time to spend a day in Malmo, Sweden. It was a 39 minute train ride each way. The staff was incredibly helpful and very professional. We highly recommend this hotel.
“Simple and clean hotel”
simple accomdation, clean, bright room, housekeeper very helpful and provided prompt services
“Helpful staff”
The front desk personnel were extremely helpful when my husband developed a medical problem. They helped us locate and get to an urgent care facility and then let us stay three hours beyond checkout time, without extra charge. The room was bright and cheerful and the location near the train station is quite convenient.
“Recommend highly for budget price”
We chose this hotel for its location and price. We were able to walk to Tivoli gardens and the sculpture museum. We stayed before and after a cruise. The rooms were identical, small, not air conditioned but quite adequate for the price. Duvet rather than sheets. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Helpful staff, excellent English. We recommend and would stay again.
“Would stay again”
Great location, clean, tidy. European rooms and beds are always small. Would stay again. Good value in a generally expensive city.
“Recommended”
This is a good 3star hotel well located. The building is very quiet, which is welcome. Breakfast is a bit minimal. The best feature is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff; I had some personal problems which they were very helpful in assisting me to sort out.
“Some thoughts on the Savoy Hotel in Copenhagen”
The staff were helpful and I found that the reception area had been renovated since my previous visit a couple of years previously. The breakfast is also of a good standard. The hotel is conveniently located in Vesterbrogade which is handy for the railway station and Tivoli.
“Good location and value for money”
Good hotel in a good location near the Tivoli gardens and within easy walking distance of Copenhagen's main sights. Area felt safe at night when returning, was near to the tourist information centre and contains several good restaurants and a nearby convenience store. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quite good, though rather small and with basic furnishings, but of a comparable standard to other 3 star hotels I have stayed in. Was pleased to find coffee and tea making facilities in the room and breakfast was good. Overall a great location and good value for money in Copenhagen.
“Very convenient location”
I have stayed in this hotel about 15 times on various business trips. In spite of its central location close to the railway station, Tivoli Gardens and the town center, the rooms are very quiet as they all back towards a yard away from the busy street on which the hotel is situated. Rooms are small and basic, but comfortable and clean. The breakfast is basic. Unfortunately there is no internet access in the rooms, but you can check your e-mail at a computer in the reception area. Make sure you get a room down the corridor, where there is less people traffic and door closing noise. These rooms have higher numbers, i.e. try to get 512 rather than 502.
“good basic city break hotel”
Very convenient for arrival by air via Central Station. We were in our rooms about an hour after landing. Top (6th) floor rooms very limited headroom and quite small, but clean and adequately equipped. other rooms substantially more spacious. Comfortable beds. Reception helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet well stocked with reasonable ranges of cereals, fruit, meat and cheese and great fresh bread and rolls. Handy location 5 mins walk from station and Tivoli gardens with a few bars/restaurants nearby, but most attractions and sights on the other side of Tivoli. A good choice for a short break in a very expensive but very beautiful city
