“Convenient location for Railway Station”
Nice quiet hotel, just about 10 mins walk from the railway station. Good choice available for breakfast and plenty of tea & coffee available in the room.
“Comfy and clean”
Friendly and extremely helpful staff and a very relaxing hotel. Only complaint was the not-so-great coffee at breakfast.
“Excellent stay for a short break”
Just returned from excellent 3 night stay. Very clean hotel, comfortable beds. Basic room, but quite sufficient for our stay. Excellent breakfast, especially the bread. Very helpful & friendly staff (Tonny on reception). Great location - close to train station, and close enough to all main attractions to walk.
“cant wait to goback”
exerlent hotel good posion for train station very frendly helpful staff
“Would go back there again”
Staff very friendly indeed. Coffee not good. Paintwork a bit shabby. Good breakfast and buzzing with nice people
“Close to train station, friendly & helpful staff”
Only a 10 minute walk from train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room basic but clean, and whilst shower room/toilet/bathroom was small it was suitable for our 2 nights. Loved the antiquated lift although we didnt have any large suitcases. Hotel really good for the money, and the breakfast was fab, eggs, meat, cheese - it was really nice to start the day with and the choice of bread and rolls were great - the coffee and juice was fine. I would definitely recommend the Savoy for a 3 star hotel with breakfast. Although the location was close to all sights, walking everywhere was not a problem, we didnt like it after dark....and tended to use local restaurants (there were lots) so we didnt have to walk around the area at night. Have to say that the character of the hotel and the great staff outweighed any negatives.
“Pleasant hotel.”
Friendly and helpful staff and clean, smallish but perfectly adequate room. Accidentally got assigned a smoking room but staff apologetic for error. No hairdryers in room and only two available for guest use via reception so remember to take your own to avoid queueing.
“Central but quiet”
Close to Central Station and to many good quality restaurants. Although central location, we were not bothered by noise. Glad room was on 5th floor as windows needed to be wide open at night otherwise room got stuffy. Might not have been so keen to do that on lower floor. Not the best hotel I've stayed at but would rate it good value for money.
“Fit for Purpose”
We had an economy room, which was small and functional but perfectly adequate as a place to sleep and shower. It was also very quiet. The beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were a bit meagre, I thought. On the other hand, the public areas of the hotel were characterful and charming. The buffet breakfasts were much appreciated, and the setting was very pleasant. Given the centrality of the hotel, we were very satisfied with what we got for our money. Though if I went again, I might take my own pillow.
“Small rooms but nice hotel”
The hotel is in an extremely convenient location in the centre of Copenhagen. Prices are reasonable (for Copenhagen). Be aware that the room is a shoebox but they've made good use of the space available. Fine for one night (or maybe two if you're not going to spend much time there). There is also lots of convenient parking nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.
