“Best Location”

The Scandic Palace has the best location in Copenhagen for tourists. Hop On Hop Off bus at front door, Tivoli 5 minute stroll away, Stroeget (pedestrian shopping mall)1 minute stroll, KFC and Burger King next door etc etc. Room was small as most European hotels, but recently renovated to very high standard. Full hot and cold buffet breakfast was included in the Rate, excellent food, and also FREE wifi available in your room. We would certainly book this hotel again if going to Copenhagen.

“Most relaxing hotel I've stayed in”

We were upgraded to a luxury bedroom, with a large king size memory mattress, and I have not slept so well in months. The staff were friendly, the location was brilliant, walking distance to everywhere and the room was super clean with a large bath and powerful shower.

“Christmas in Copenhagen”

This hotel was just about perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the location was ideal and the staff courteous and helpful. Possibly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at in our travels.

“Excellent - will stay there again”

This was my second stay at this hotel and I will stay there again. The central location is excellent. The staff is very courteous and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable and I never heard any sounds from other guests. For me, this is Copenhagen's best.

“Very Nice”

Staff was very friendly, room clean. We got a good deal on the price, but had breakfast each morning which was very nice, yummy bread and very expensive. If you eat alot it may be worth it, but we didn't do our currency conversion very well and had we figured out how much it was costing we would have eaten somewhere else.

“Fit for Royalty”

I've stayed at Copenhagen's Palace Hotel since the early 1990s. Its combination of location, splendour, and extreme courtesy and service to guests gives it a wonderful ambience. Has it survived its new owners and recent refit? 90% yes, the tradition and friendliness is still the same. The rooms are contemporary Scandinavian and very comfortable; my only regret is the architectural failure to integrate the hotel's palatial features with the new style. The refurbished Dining Room is most successful, having uncovered two original granite pillars. Hotels in Copenhagen are generally excellent but this one has retained its great character 90% intact. For example "Scandic" Palace Hotel is a sign of corporate dumbing. It still exudes tradition and prestige more than more expensive alternatives. Rooms are quiet and peaceful, yet right in the heart of wonderful wonderful Copenhagen.

the Hotel was great! really easy to get there is just a few minutes fron the statation of the city, near tivoli! and jus were the shopping area is!.. you gonna love this!!

“Great Copenhagen location, super breakfast”

Excellent breakfast, staff who were clearly proud of their city and willingly passed on travel advice, super easy to make dinner reservations through the Concierge, and a GREAT location for walking, shopping and catching the Hop-on Hop-off (across the street). Good value for money in Denmark. Also easily walkable from the central train station.

“Scandic Hotel great value”

The hotel is in a great location. When we arrived early, they let us check in. Staff was great and helpful. The breakfast at hotel very nice. Location could not be better to see Copenhagen and Denmark. They don't have plugins by the bed which is an issue for people with medical devices to plug in, so bring a long extension cord.
