“A fabulous Copenhagen experience.”
A fantastic hotel with many good features. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room a good size. If you can upgrade to a water view it is worth it. The bar was pleasant to spend time in.
“v impressed”
clean comfortable v helpful staff v good breakfast buffet
“hotel very good”
but do check when booking in whether the buffet breakfast is included. Other than this problem which was resolved the hotel the service and staff were excellent
“Beautiful Hotel”
Stayed for a surprise long weekend with my boyfriend in May 2009. The whole experience was wonderful - only one small problem in the the hotel had no hot water on one of the nights but everything was back to normal within a few hours. Our room was overlooking the water and was large and really spacious. Also liked the fact it was a little bit outside of town. Just a 10 minute walk but far away to feel the benefit of peace and quiet.
“would definitely go back”
Great hotel in excellent location - close to Tivoli, train station and museums. Look out for great weekend rates. Definitely book a waterside view and breakfast is a must too !
“Great place to visit”
Great hotel with a good location.
“Impressive”
From the very beginning, everything about this hotel was perfect. Beautiful location by the canal with the sun shining; not right in the middle of town but only 10 min walk from there. Very friendly staff, as were everybody in Copenhagen. Had a lovely long weekend trip.
“a perfect weekend”
our stay at the hotel was amazing! the location on the river was beautiful and a short walk into the main centre meant we were close enough but not too close for comfort. the staff were fantastic and were willing to bend over backwards to make us feel comfortable. The room was very comfortable and clean. only a 5 minute walk from the station made it really easy too.
“Great hotel - lovely views - convenient location”
We had a river view room which was lovely. Breakfast was buffet style with an extensive collection of items to choose from. This hotel is conveniently placed and is a short walking distance from the city centre. The little mermaid is about a 40 minute walk, Tivoli Gardens 10 minutes. We didnt use the hotel restaraunt at night - they were happy to recommend local places which were lovely. Our only gripe about Copenhagen in general is the cost! - 2 drinks in a bar set us back GBP15 and coffee for 2 GBP10. The cheapest wine at dinner was about GBP30 and it wasnt great.
“Very comfortable, good location.”
Unfortunately the reception and lounge area were undergoing some refurbishment whilst we were there, however we had been notified of this in advance by the hotel. The room was large and very clean and very comfortable. The only disappointment was there was no tea & coffee making facilities, the information we had before booking said free coffee in the hotel lobby but this was only between 6 and 8 am!! We used the hotel's sauna and steam room which was nice especially as it was so cold outside. Sadly the Tivoli garden were closed for the winter and it would have been a great view if they had have been open. Definitley recommend.
