“Great Copenhagen Hotel”

Had a great stay here. All very clean, freshly decorated in a cool slightly retro Danish style. Comfy bed, nice furniture, good shower. It's a 10-minute walk into the centre of town. Staff were friendly enough. Would definitely return.

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful city”

Friendly staff, great location, comfortable rooms, umbrellas to borrow free of charge and nice big TVs!

Area recommendations

“Good place to stay (but without the used tampon in the bathroom)”

Nice staff, great location, good price, good parking and easy access to stuff. We did not like the used tampon we found in the trash in the bathroom when we came though.

“Simple and charming”

This is a great hotel, good value for money by Copenhagen standards. They do the important things well - windows that open, small but adequate rooms, and easy to use free wifi. The breakfast was wonderful, well worth the extra cost to our booking. The lounge is a lovely place to spend some tome and they have a good range of teas, drinks and snacks. I was very impressed.

Area recommendations
City centre gives you good access to lots of attractions. I would also consider staying in Frederikshavn for the good shopping and dining options.

“Charming, Reasonably Priced Hotel in Copenhagen”

The only problem with the hotel was that there was construction going on and they started at 6AM and it was right outside our window. Otherwise, the staff were great, the hotel was very clean, fantastic location, charming hotel that was very reasonably priced.

“Great, but small”

Our room was very nice (though a little cramped). There was no light switch to turn on the light in the room when we got home at night because there was no ceiling light. We had to stumble around to get the beside light or bathroom light on to get ourselves oriented. Above the toilet, there was a shelf attached to the wall, and when we put an electronic toothbrush on it, the shelf fell - leaving the 30Euro toothbrush cracked. I don't know if it was just loose in our room or if that's the case for all of them, but I'd recommend reserving the shelf for more lightweight/unbreakable things. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is very nice - you can take some food and have a picnic in one of the few nearby parks (ørstedparken is very nice for this). If you want to avoid eating expensive restaurant food, ask the staff about the nearest bakery for breakfast and look up the nearest Irma supermarket.

“Hôtel Ibsens à Copenhague : très bien situé, très agréable”

Un hôtel très agréable et la chambre, bien que petite était confortable (presque trop bien chauffée !). Très bien situé, à proximité de Norreport, la station de métro et S-tog qui dessert le plus de lignes et proche du centre ville même à pieds. Une réception 24h/24h très pratique pour rentrer tard le soir. Nous gardons l'adresse précieusement.

Dining
La restauration à Copenhague est assez chère dans l'ensemble. Mais c'est aussi très bon et très copieux donc ça équilibre plutôt bien. Juste un conseil : attention aux horaires notamment le soir (en hiver). Tout, y compris une bonne partie des restaurants ferment leur cuisine très tôt. Mieux vaut manger peu le midi et prévoir de diner tôt !

“Good hotel in central Copenhagen”

We had a nice stay at the Ibsen Hotel in downtown Copenhagen. Friendly staff, relaxed neighbourhood and within walking distance of the main tourist attractions. Breakfast is rather expensive but there are plenty alternatives at short distance.

“In het Centrum op nog geen 200m van het Metro en Trein station”

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, behulpzaam en vlotte bediening. Erg goede bedden, nog niet eerder zo goed geslapen voor zo'n prijs. Keurige kamer, en nette badkamer. 1 lift is echter wat weinig tijdens de spitsuren. Trap is goed te doen mits je goed ter been bent. Leuk detail zijn de hotel kamer nummers verwerkt in het vloerkleed van de lift en de plattegrond van het centrum met alle straatnamen etc. in de hotel kamerhallen. Kortom schoon, netjes, vriendelijk en betaalbaar goed hotel, een aanrader!

Neem de eerste dag de tourbus, en daarna zelf lekker wandelen door de stad, parken en langs het water.

“Hôtel Ibsens à Copenhague”

L'hôtel est confortable, mais les chambres sont vraiment minuscules. Le déjeuner à environ 28.- est vraiment trop cher pour quelques sandwichs et du café/thé en verre. Personnel serviable et agréable
