“Will Visit Again”

Very nice, quiet area, and historical. The rooms were very small but that seems to be common in Denmark. The full breakfast was good. Our luggage was late so the front desk helped in checking the status with the airline, received it when we were out, and called us as soon as it arrived. Very helpful. This was a good location for us as our daughter was doing a study abroad and lived north of Copenhagen. If you want the downtown life of Copenhagen, I would suggest staying in the city as this is out of town a bit but is still an easy train ride in.

“Very Nice Hotel.”

Very nice hotel that is very well managed. Single rooms are small. Restaurant food quality is excellent but somewhat pricey and the menu is limited. Hotel and room cleanliness is supurb. Room rates vary widely so book in advance and via a travel service (Expedia). Front desk staff is polite and competent. And the hotel is not that far from downtown Copenhagen. Public transportation is excellent. Plus everyone in Denmark speakes English.

“An Surprisingly Good Base with a Good Dinner.”

This is a small hotel, part of a Danish national chain, in the more affluent Northern suburbs of Copenhagen but close to outlying business districts such as Lyngby. It's easy to reach by public transport from Copenhagen airport (tube, then change onto 'S-tog' (suburban train#, then easy walk from station#. Similarly very easy to get into Copenhagen for sight-seeing #'S-tog' direct every ten minutes#. The building itself is an old coaching-inn but modernised and significantly extended. The building is a little worn in places but quite acceptable. It was very quiet when I was there #on business# but filled rapidly with mainly Danish families over Easter. My room was comfortable #think Premier Inn but better beds, bathroom and food# although the corridors are 'functional' - reminded me of ships' corridors. Breakfasts are typical North-European: buffet-style with cereals, meats, Danish pastries and good coffee; service was a little sparse if you needed anything, though. Dinner was surprisingly good for such a small, suburban hotel and, given the quality of the food and presentation, it seemed reasonable value given that Denmark is expensive by UK standards. All the staff were pleasant and helpful; the environs too are pleasant #large lake close by, a small local shopping centre#. This was a last-minute booking which turned out well - a quiet, unimposing, comfortable hotel in a pleasant suburban district but with good communications to Copenhagen and local centres.

“Nice hotel, quiet location”

There's a lot of public transportation options nearby (bus and train). Only issue (for me) was that I couldn't find a place to get a beer other than the hotel.

“Good place to stay if travelling on a budget”

Nic hotel wit free parking, fast wifi and hearty breakfast on suburbs of Copenhagen. Very good transport to the City Center (20 min by local train) but expensive tickets (so dont plan to come back during the day). Overall nic experience.

“Rooms need updating”

Friendly staff with a nice restaurant but the rooms could use some renovations especially in the bathroom.

“very, very nice hotel, but rooms are on the small side”

Hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, service is helpful and accomodating, rooms clean and well equipped but rather on the small side acc. to American standards. Breakfast buffet is excellent and reasonably priced. We would definitely like to come back.
