Bleu - Chic lobby brasserie with blue motif reflected in the drapes and glasses, serving East-West fusion dishes such as Foie Gras with Teriyaki and Sake, Greenlandic Halibut in Spicy Waters, and Local Lamb in Five Spices. The wine selection is displayed in tall Perspex cabinets and the restaurant opens onto a small courtyard during the summer months, with views of the Latin Quarter's red-tiled rooftops. Café Blanc - Intimate street-facing jazz café with candlelit tables and white decor, serving coffees, cakes and light meals from morning to evening. “Incredible”
Stayed for 3 nights and can't say enough good things. Staff were excellent, room was beautiful and the location was perfect.
“very stylish”
Although the entrance to the hotel was less than impressive as it backed onto a dull street, and did not have obvious signage, once we reached the lobby (one floor up) the style was everywhere, from the Arne Jacobsen chairs to the beautiful lighting. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast very Danish, and delicious.
“Perfect for the area”
It the right hotel for Copenhagen
“Avoid unless everywhere else booked: And even then.....”
Not remotely a 5 star hotel, despite the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.. Very tired and in need of a complete overhaul.
“Not impressive, don't like it at all.”
Staff wasn't try to help.
“Great hotel in old city/Copenhagen”
This is the best hotel in the old city of Copenhagen - super well located near lots of cute shops, and cafes and walking streets. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is nice and comfortable and a great example of Danish interior design. The rooms have comfy robes and slippers. The rooms are bright and sunny (when it's sunny out.) This is the second time I've stayed there. The first time I got a king bed, and the room was larger and looked on to the historic building across the way. This time I got the two double bed room, which was a LOT smaller, but is well set up and had a balcony that overlooked the hotel and some other buildings. (Very cute.) It's well worth it!
“Excellent mid-priced hotel in great location with some charme”
Surprisingly pleasant, slightly hip hotel, excellent location in the heart of the city, nice service.
“Trendy hotel in an excellent location”
The hotel building is a converted department store, fashionably re-purposed as a hotel. The lobby bar is friendly and not too loud. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful: having forgotten to pack an electrical adapter, I asked at the front desk where I could buy one and they simply handed me an adapter for my use while staying at the hotel. The desk clerk didn't even take my room number -- trusting instead that I'd return it at checkout. My only complaint was during breakfast in the hotel dining room on Sunday morning. Clearly the staff were overwhelmed by the number of guests, as it took 15 to place an order (I declined the pricey buffet) and another 15 minutes to bring an omelette.
“OK hotel, nice location”
hotel is in a nice location, and the hotel lobby and restaurat are nice and spacious. however, we will never stay there again because the rooms were filthy. upon arrival on our check in date at 11pm, the receptionist said our room wasn't ready yet... so that was a very strange thing.... after 10 mins or so, she said she found us our room. we arrived at our room and the room was spacious, but filthy. you could see a layer of dust on the floor and dust on the bed coverings. it was disgusting! we thought since they were "hurried" that they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned in a while, but the next day after maid service, they still did not clean the floors. also, the hotel was no help in finding restaurant accommodations. we asked twice for restaurant recomendations and they said they had none. however, we walked two doors down the street and there is a great place that is open late and serves breakfast until the late afternoon. i would never stay here again and would definitely not recommend.
“First Skt Petri Denmark”
Nice big rooms, but you need to ask the staff to change bed sheets and towels. Location is great.
