Easy access to Copenhegen Central Station, cross over the bridge, there is a shopping mall 'Field', Got a lot of shops and different restaurants, and have a supermarket, very good The hotel itself very clean and comfortable.. The staffs are very helpful . It got the airport shuttle bus to take you to the hotel and airport, very convenience. It is a very nice hotle, I would like to recommend to other people and my friends.

“Crowne Plaza - No other hotel for Copenhagen!!”

Well what can I say.... This hotel is brand new, highly contemporary, and I can't remember a time when I received better service from any hotel. Honestly, the staff couldn't do enough to make you comfortable with a genuine smile on their faces, from collecting us in their free airport shuttle service(we were only travellers on that particular flight) to the exceptional knowledge of the Concierge. We had a deluxe kingsize room on the 21st floor which provided great views across Orestad and beyond. The only downsides, albeit petty, were that the iron provided in the room had no steam function, and the pillows seemed cheap. Oh, and the in-room breakfast was extrortionate at £24 per person (Kr. 225). For us, the location was absolutely perfect; one hundred yards to the nearest Metro station(Orestad), literally across the street from Field's, the largest indoor shopping centre in Scandinavia which serves fantastic sandwiches and pastries in the cafe as you enter the complex. Once done with breakfast or lunch you can simply walk across the road to the Metro station which conveniently serves two train lines, one to the City Centre (8 minutes to Kongen Nytorv for Stroget) or the other to Tivoli one way and Malmo, across the Oresund bridge, the other. The Metro is similar to the DLR in London (No driver) and cost around £3 return. All this and the cheapest 4*+ hotel we could find in Copenhagen. Would highly recommend and definately be staying there for our next trip!

“Wonderful, wonderful Crown Plaza!”

My husband and I went to visit my son who is living in Copenhagen, we stayed at the Plaza Crown Hotel. Views from our room were magnificent, the hotel is a modern, friendly and very "Green" hotel. Somehow the hotel uses the minimum to acheive the maximum in service and comfort for guests. The breakfast is continental buffet style, the food, good, choice reasonable. The hotel is nicely situated for taking the Metro (which is just across the road) into Copenghaen, also, 5 minets from the hotel is a giant shopping mall, where many an hour can be spent browsing. Overall, I would say this is an excellent hotel to use as a base for anyone wishing to explore Copenhagen and the surrounding areas.

“Overnight Stay”

The occasion of our visit was to stay overnight to catch an early plane to Canada from Copenhagen Airport. The hotel was totally convenient on the main highway, close to the airport and provided free shuttle service. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful as were all the serving staff. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and again staff were helpful. The room was of a good size, very comfortable, and with an excellent bathroom. All in all a great stay marred only by the fact we would have liked to stay longer.

“Clean, Quiet, and Reasonable”

My wife and I stayed at the Crown Plaza before and after a Princess Cruise that left from Copenhagen. While we love to stay in old hotels I' m a light sleeper and constant noise from toilets flushing and doors closing has sent me looking for newer hotels. The Crown Plaza was perfect. It is new and in excellent condition. Our room was spotless. The bed and linens were marvelous. It was very quiet. The staff spoke perfect English. They were very helpful in navigating around the city. The train and Metro were about 2 city blocks away and very easy to use. The hotel sells tickets at a reduced rate. It is a short ride into Copenhagen. It was easy to get within walking distance of our ship. We had no trouble getting the hotel's shuttle to and from the airport. We heard horror stories from fellow passengers, on the ship, about staying in older hotels in town. I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Copenhagen. It is a beautiful city with much to see and do.

“A very fine hotel”

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and thought that it was great. The hotel is famous for being "green" and the rooms are very clean, spacious and well-appointed. It's practically right across the street from a metro/train station, so it couldn't be easier to get into the city from this location. It's also just down the street from Scandinavia's biggest mall, "Fields" which is a great place to get pastries, meals or etc. The staff also really seems to take pains to be as helpful and friendly and professional as possible. Another convenience they offer is a shuttle van that runs from Copenhagen airport to the hotel and back (although it's not 24 hours a day-check with the hotel to confirm times and availability). The only downside I can say about this hotel is the shower. Coming from the US, I found the hot and cold water controls to be confusing. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to get a steady stream of warm water- the water seemed to alternate between being too hold and then being a bit too cool (though not cold). Maybe it was the fixtures, maybe it was the hotel's hot water heater-I don't know, but it was kind of frustrating. Also, instead of having a shower curtain, the tub had a glass shield that only went about 1/3 of the way across the length of the tub. As a result, water from tyhe shower easily sprinkled onto the bathroom floor. Neither of these factors was a really big deal to me, but it is something the hotel might consider changing.

“Highly recommended!!”

This hotel is very modern and very comfortable for European standards. Quite similar to a hotel you'd find in the States (complete with an ice machine on every floor)! The room was extremely quiet and quite large, and the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with the internet in our room, but a quick cable cord provided by the hotel fixed it quickly. While outside of Copenhagen "proper," the hotel is just across the street from both the train station and the metro (and the hotel offers cheap tickets for the metro, which is great). Additionally, it is located just across the train bridge from the Field's shopping center, which is great to find a quick bite or a souvenir to bring home. The price can't be beat for such a nice hotel, and while you can't walk out the front door and be in the city center, you can be there in a matter of minutes at a much lower price than you'd find in other hotels. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if I ever find myself back in Copenhagen.
