“Quaint lodging near the airport”
The Cottage Farm is a very quaint bed and breakfast near the Copenhagen airport. You can actually see the control tower from the inn, however airport noise is not a problem. The old farm house is circa 1821 and has rustic charm all around. There are pastures on either side of the inn with horses grazing so a very quiet place. There is also a chicken coop on the premise, but no early morning wake up from the residents. The room I reserved was in one of the out buildings since I requested a private bathroom. The room was pretty basic with two single beds, sitting area, TV with VCR, refrigerator and hot water pot. There were limited electrical outlets unless you wanted to unplug a lamp. Only one bath towel was provided and no amenities to speak of. They did have wireless internet available for free. Since it was listed as a B & B I thought it odd to charge for the breakfast which included breads, meat, cheese, fresh fruit and a granola cereal. Juice was provided as well as coffee and hot tea. A hard or soft bolied egg was available upon request. The town of Dragor is about a 20-25 minute walk from the inn. Small town with a few shops, restaurants and a grocery store. I stumpled upon a Thai restaurant that served up a pretty good Phad Thai.
A good experience all in all for just a one night stay. The owners were very nice people.
