“Great hotel in Copenhagen”

Our travel experience was great! Everything was easy. Even though we didn't have a print out for our hotel they were really friendly and told us not to worry about it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Great location - right on the harbour. The only downside to the hotel was that it didn't have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. However, there was so many nice places to go it didn't matter. Rooms were small but clean and very cute. The bed was a double and quite small.

“Great location and friendly staff”

The only downside to this hotel was the fact that they do not have air conditioning. We were there during one of the hottest times ever and had to make the best of the unbearable heat. Temparatures were about 20 deg. F above average.

“Nice, quiet hotel within short walk of all the main sites”

The hotel was not in the center of town which was great because it was very quiet where we were. Since the rooms are not air-conditioned and it was quite warm in Copenhagen when we were there, it was very important to be in a quiet area as we needed to have the windows open. The room is quite small but we weren't there much and it's very clean with an incredibly helpful staff. Convenient walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay there again.

“Superb hotel in centre near Nyhavn”

The Strand is superbly positioned if you want to be near the Royal Theatre, Nyhavn, Amalienborg and Rosenslot. Also, the M2 metro from the airport comes very close. So convenient. Breakfast is extra, not cheap, but good.

“A very enjoyable stay.”

The room was typical "European" small; but, otherwise most enjoyable. Great service, clean, nicedly equipped, excellent location, and a very good value.

“it's a good choise!”

Everything was great - hotel is very clean and cousy; rooms are big enough (we were staying in the double) despite what previous feedbacks say; we had a lovely view over the roofs of Copenhagen. the best about this hotel is it's location - couple mins walking to the heart of Copenhagen with all it's sight seeings!!!

“Would definitely recommend this hotel”

The Strand Copenhagen is one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in in Europe. The bedrooms were a little larger than some European hotels we have stayed in and the room and bathroom were sparkling clean. Would definitely stay there again. One thing that might bother some people is that it's not right in the middle of the city but everything in Copenhagen is so close that it's only a half mile walk to the center.

“Good for a short break at a reasonable price”

Lovely location, quiet but within walking distance of most sights. Worth adding on breakfast which offered a good range and variety of food to suit most tastes. Self service buffet but staff in attendance were helpful and pleasant and were quick to refill items that were running low and to set up tables in the adjoining bar area at very busy times. Room quite small (even superior option) but comfortable enough, including the bed. Pillows could be better quality. The two on the bed were very flat and only one spare lumpy one was to be found in the wardrobe A bit more space and tea/coffee making facilities would get a higher rating from us.
