“Depressing.”
Depressing from beginning to end - unusually shabby for Copenhagen.
“Budget service for non-budget price.”
Pros: Location is great (right in the city center), nice big bathroom and shower (rare for European hotels), reasonably priced. Cons: It took them a while to find my reservation, the actual room is quite small, heater does not work that great, WiFi works only on the ground floor and most of all the equipment tends to malfunction (I was awaken in the middle of the night by Fire Alarm going on for no reason what so ever - considering that it is extremely loud and right above the bed, not the experience you want to have) Overall, it's a descent 2-3 star hotel, conveniently located and reasonably priced (by EU standards, in US same quality hotel would go for half as much). if the only thing you want is to sleep and move on with your travels - not a bad choice.
“Not impressed at all”
They say 3 star hotel. Its more like a cheap motel in American standards big box tv with no cable and only 4 working channels, no wifi in the room only in the lobby. You can barely fit in the shower and is right next to the toilet unsanitary, the only thing dividing it is a curtain.
“A good budget hotel”
The hotel isn't in the most salubrious part of Copenhagen but it was a great location geographically. Within very easy reach of the train station and Tivoli gardens (which were not actually open while we were there in October). The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very good at meeting our needs (recommendations for restaurants, wifi codes etc). Breakfast was plentiful and very European - so don't expect a cooked breakfast (this is the norm for people not used to travelling main land Europe). Wifi was also included. If you want basic but comfy - this is the hotel for you!
“Budget hotel to stay in”
This is a budget hotel and is just a short walk from the central train station and the city square. The rooms are cleaned every day and a good breakfast is available downstairs. Hotel provide free internet service and the staff is very helpful. The only criticism is that during my stay the Hotel has downgraded their TV channels to only a few and the English channel was only Euro News.
“Good hotel in Copenhagen for the price.”
We had a good experience at this hotel. Very close to Central Station, that was a big plus. Nice Thai restaurant nearby. Breakfast was spread was OK, not great but cannot complain. Room was clean and quiet.
“We came back and will again the future.”
The hotel is in a great location...just a short walk from the central train station, city square, Tivoli gardens and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek museum. In fact, for those who enjoy walking, you can reach in boat tour area in only 20 minutes, and from there a comfortable walk to the Little Mermaid and other great sights. A very nice breakfast is available off the lobby, free internet service and helpful desk staff. We've found their suggestions and directions very useful. The cost is very reasonable. Our only criticism is that neither CNN or MSNBC is available in guest rooms.
“Fantastic place to visit”
Excellent location, friendly staff. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facility in room. Shower room rather small. Smoke detector hanging from bedroom ceiling. Good value, will definately recommend to friends & family.
“Good location and nothing else.”
We had prebooked for 3 days prior to a cruise and 6 days post cruise. First stay we were on top floor at front of hotel. Didn't get much sleep because no A/c in hotel so had to open windows and listen to constant yelling and profanity all night as hotel is situated in the 'red light' district. On our return visit we asked to be at back of hotel and that was a lot better. Hotel is old and rooms small and the room service isn't much waste bin emptied and bed made and that's it. We personally wouldn't go back. On the bright side, the breakfast was quite good and location very close to central station was excellent.
“Great breakfast!”
We stayed at this hotel for one night. On arrival we found that parking was 3 blocks away and cost a lot for 24 hrs, fine if you have no luggage to carry around. The hotel room was on the top floor. The room was a nice size but a bit grubby around the edges. The bathroom was a "wetroom" which was fine, small but clean. There was no air conditioning and it was a very hot night so we opened the windows. Unfortunately, the noise from the street below was terrible. Shouting, screaming and horns blowing. The following morning we went down for breakfast which was very good. The selection of food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The parking worked out really well for us as we were only there for one night and we wanted to explore Copenhagen so we could leave the car where it was.
