booked rather last minute, but we had a great stay. everything worked out great, they had free parking during august, so that was a bonus. have stayed at hotel many times before and never been disappointed.
We booked a room there just one night, with two beds in the Annex section. We had a great view from the window, the bed were very comfortable, the staff was very nice with us and we even had a small sink right in the room! We could hear some fireworks on Saturday because the window was open during the night but they appeared so far that it did not keep up from sleeping.
It is ridiculously close to the train station and only a few minutes away from very touristy streets with nice shops and great entertainment.
Wi-fi is available at the reception (there is a small living room to sit) and we were allowed to leave our bags in the storage room on the day we arrived and when we checked out the next day.
The price was definitely too high, but we booked last minute and it was during the Iron Man contest. Yet, you will soon discover that everything is rather expensive in Copenhagen, so just consider the price of a room as preparation for all the other prices you will see during your stay.
I have stayed at the Grand at least a dozen times. The location is perfect, minutes walk from the central railway station and a few blocks from the central Copenhagen sights, venues and night life. Every time the room is different, pros and cons to each. If your room is disappointing in some way, don't be discuouraged. Enjoy the city and know that the next time your room will more than likely be excellent. Be prepared for a somewhat rustic experience - the floors are a little creaky and the lifts not so fast, but it's all part of the charm. I always imagine my grandfather staying here in the 40's and 50's when it was a modern centrally located highlight. The restaurant is one of the best around, perfect for a late night arrival by train which gets you to Copenhagen H in less than 15 minutes from the airport. I will keep coming back.
Perfect hotel to sleep in ,friendly staff :) clean room , TV was small a bit :)
Highly recommend for single traveler or young couple ! Location very good ,close to downtown.
By foot 20 min ,or 5 min on M2
We went to Copenhagen for a weekend and stayed at the Scandic Weber.
The staff was wonderful, we didn't have any problem, they were really friendly with us. Room was as expected, clean and nice, good size. Bed was incredibly fluffy and soft!!
Breakfast was acceptable, good choice both sweet and savory. Staff kept on refilling it often at all time.
