“Good budget - inexpensive but not cheap”

I liked this hotel a lot. Basically the rooms are quite small (maybe 8 by 12 feet, including bath). This a small chain with several hotels in Copenhagen, with rooms that are basically well-designed dorm rooms. Mine had 2 bunk beds with a spare bed that had been pulled out and put agains the opposite wall which was a great place to put luggage. This is not a honeymoon hotel but is a fine place to stay. This is not a opulent hotel but is comfortabale enough. The bed was comfortable (like the feather comforter) and room very clean. There are good public spaces (incluing a Mac computer for guest use) and a fair sized sitting area (with free wireless). You can but a good European continental breakfast for a about $8. You can buy food (sandwiches, coffee, soda) at the recpetion desk too. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Forum Metro that will take you to and from the Airport.

“Small rooms but a comfortable stay”

Yes, the rooms are small and the bunk beds are reminiscent of a dorm, but the rooms are clean and the location is wonderful. It was a quick walk over the river to the main section of Copenhagen. It was in a quiet neighborhood which looked and felt safe. The only issue was that it was a bit warmer than normal during my trip and the room remained stuffy and warm late into the night. There wasn't air conditioning or a fan. The bathroom was much smaller than expected, but it was serviceable. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great value”

Four of us were able to stay comfortable in one room. Bedding was nice and soft. Very clean over all.

Of course it is not a five star hotel but it is clean, has free wifi/internet and is in a great location. Budget travelers should all come here!

“Quality budget hotel”

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 teenage children,room was slightly smaller than I expected but as we have relatives in Copenhagen we only went there to sleep.We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel although I did have a coffee in the reception which was expensive and not very nice.Overall good place to use as a base as metro/buses are nearby and hotel is very good value for Copenhagen.

“Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel”

This hotel was an "ok" hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for ultamite comfort or service. But if you are just looking for a place to sleep and somewhere close to town, this would be the place to stay. I have to give them credit for the breakfast buffet. I was pleasently surprised and it was delicious.

“Budget, central, basic and clean”

This is a "budget" accommodation (as budget as an expensive city like Copenhagen can be...). Rooms are not big, but are not even like "cabins", as the name might suggest. I was quite satisfied with my clean room, and this time it was the second (positive) stay for me in this hotel. Wireless internet in rooms is FREE. There are also some pc near the reception but in this case I am not sure whether using the internet from such pc is free. Unfortunately I cannot comment on the breakfast as I haven't tried it. A Tv was available in the room. A kettle to prepare tea and coffee (free bags for tea and instant coffee are provided daily in the room, together with shampoo and towels) was available in the room. The hotel is in a safe area only 100m from the beautiful and central Copenhagen's artificial lakes, a magic area I really love. It's also 100 m away from the "Forum" metro station (directly linked with the airport, ~25 min). Via metro you can be in the historical centre within 5 min (but hey, I always rent a bike. It's a shame to miss the opportunity to go around the city without a bike! It's so enjoyable.). Again, no frills, but it's one of the very few options to stay in Copenhagen without giving away a fortune. Also, staff was nice and helpful. Highly recommended. Room Tip: Try to get a room at a floor higher than the first one, as the latter is very close to the street.

“It's a 3-star by European Standards”

CABINN Scandanavia Being the third time I've been to Copenhagen I knew hotels weren't going to be cheap. I was traveling with my family (4 of us) and only needed a place to rest our heads for one night before a cruise. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Forum station. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were fine. The room was clean and there was a hot water pot with instant coffee and tea in the room. The concept of the hotel is in line with cruise ship cabins, hence the name. The bathroom was a bit cramped and it doubles as a shower. The room is not overly spacious but it did accommodate the four of us (two twin beds and a staggered set of bunks. Breakfast is not included in the base rate but the buffet is delicious and fresh. Being a European hotel the fare consisted mainly of cold cuts, cheese, bread, cereals, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee, tea, and juice were also provided.

“Great place for a Short break”

This Hotel does indeed have some quirky rooms. We found the family room that we had was great fun and as long as you don't plan to spend lots of time in the room, it has everything you need.Very well placed for the metro from the Airport ( Forum Station)and close to Tivoli Gardens and the town centre. A great bakery on the corner of the street - good for a danish Pastry in the morning !
