"Great value and location."
Checked in early since the staff was kind enough to accommodate my early arrival. Design of the facility is amazing - very Scandinavian minimalist while also trendy and hip (read: young) at the same time. Although the crowd feels like a hostel there were many families and other people like me who were there on business. I stayed on the 5th floor - quiet enough at night and very cool and private. The morning gets a little busy for breakfast - I decided to opt out of it and go for a single purchase espresso instead - but there's a lot of work space available and it was generally pretty easy to concentrate in the lobby. Food was decent and for Copenhagen the prices were more than reasonable. Will happily recommend to colleagues and friends in the future.

"Wonderful hotel, close to Central Railway Station"
My wife and I stayed in the apartment side of the hotel for 6 nights. It was wonderful. The location of the hotel is about 3 blocks from Central Station, so we took the train from the airport. The walk from Central Station to the hotel was about 6 minutes. (Of course, you need a good map to know which way to go as you leave the station.) The staff at the reception desk were always very friendly and helpful. We never saw our room cleaner, but we always came back to a clean room. Since eating out in Copenhagen is about twice as expensive as eating out in our home town of Seattle, it was nice to be able to eat in our apartment most of the time. We found 3 different grocery stores within 1 or 2 blocks of the hotel. The most well-stocked one was called Rema 1000 or something like that. If we ever go to Copenhagen again, I will stay at the Ascot again.

"Nice surprise"
Apartments with hotel services (they clean the room daily). Not far from center (15 minutes). One restaurant, food to go and supermarket in same building. Huge loft style apartments. Very quiet area. 10 minutes walk and there is a mall and the train and subway station, bus stop on block away.

"Apartment hotel close to city"
The hotel is well maintained and the staff helpful. The train station is a short walk, but the center of Copenhagen is only another five or ten minutes walk. Except for the hotel, you have to go into the city for dinner. many shops, including coffee shops do not open until ten. Free wifi is only available in the lobby.

"Excellent hotel close to the city centre"
This hotel suited us as we did not want to stay right in the city centre, yet we were only a short metro ride from all the sights. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

"Close Walking Proximity to Central Square"
The hotel was reasonably priced for its location, despite the fact that Copenhagen is a very expensive city. The single room was clean and cozy, albeit a bit small. But for one person, it was more than enough! The bathroom was very small, but not the end of the world all things considered. It was just a 15 minute walk to the Central Square, which was very convenient. The price could have included a breakfast seeing, but again, not the end of the world. Would definitely recommend it for someone spending a few days visiting Copenhagen and wants to be close enough to the Central Square and Central Train Station.

"Nice hotel, centrally located for all the sights"
The hotel was easy to find and the room very comfortable. We had an issue locking the door when we went out. Reported this to Reception who promised to get somebody to look at it but nobody did. We worked out how to get round this so didn't cause too much disruption. We found things quite noisy (including throughout the night) but this was mainly due to the metro construction which is currently taking place all over the centre of Copenhagen and which probably affects many hotels in the centre. In addition, on one of the days we stayed, the road outside was being resurfaced and this continued until the early hours. Plenty of restaurants in the near vicinity. On our last day we found out by accident that it was a Public Holiday and that a number of sights we'd planned to visit were closed. (A check in advance had not identified this date as a Public Holiday). It would have been nice if Reception had provided some advance notification/information about this. Overall though it was a positive experience and I would happily go back.
