The best thing of this hotel is the location in the city center. A lot bars and cafe restaurants.
The rooms are normal not great and the cleaning lady did a really bad job before we arrived so it was a little bit dirty.
Really expensive mini bar.
I would not come back to this hotel.

We had a pleasant room. It was relatively small but bright, very clean and adequate. The large 'Queen' double bed was comfortable and we had individual duvets which was good. The bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished and had a super, large shower space. We'd taken a 'no refund' deal for a one night stay. It included breakfast and we considered the hotel was good value for money because Copenhagen is an expensive city. Breakfast was buffet style - all right but not exciting. The modern-style decor in some areas of the hotel looked a bit tired, e.g. the basement where there are toilets. The real bonus for us was the excellent standard of staff on Reception. They were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Perfect English was spoken and first-class advice given on everything we asked about. If we ever visit the city again we'd be happy to stay at the Scandic Front.
I stayed in the Scandic for four nights with my mum and sister in June.
We loved everything about it; the really friendly & efficient staff, the delicious breakfasts, the comfy, clean room and the convient location (about 10 minute walk to city hall and shopping streets).
Busy hotel yet the rooms were mostly quiet and the staff made time for everyone!
I would highly recommend the Scandic.
We really liked this hotel, despite getting off to a bad start - double booked and taxi'ed to the Crowne Plaza for the first night. The staff handled the situation as well as they possibly could, and various freebies came our way as a result! The great service continued throughout our stay.
The rooms are of a high standard, with fabulous thick pine beams that feature throughout the hotel. We had lovely views across the water to Christianshavn, including the impressive Opera House. There is some building work going on in the area currently which detracted a little from the vista.
Breakfast was excellent and bar meals good. The hotel restaurant, Salt, was a bit disappointing: more down to personal taste than overall quality. It was also very expensive.
The hotel location is great for tourists - a short stroll from various attractions including Nyhavn, Amalienborg and the Little Mermaid.
This is a good hotel for its locations close to the station, although beware it's a bit of a walk to main areas of Copenhagen. It is comfortable and the staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. There was no safe in the room but reception looked after some of our valuables and some we had to carry with us.

The room was tidy and a good size for two people with a large double bed in it. The bed was very comfy however more pillows would have been preferred. The facilities of the hotel were great. It would have been better if our room had its own tea and coffee making facilities rather than a machine in one of the communal areas.
Overall a lovely hotel, would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic distance from the Central station. Big, spacious room. I was very happy with my stay. The staff were often completely distracted and busy but I think that is due to only having two computers to check people in and out.
Pocket Guide: Copenhagen Copenhagen City Centre Hotels
The formerly fortified centre is now encircled by parks and criss-crossed with paved pedestrian streets. Nearly all of Copenhagen’s sights are here, including Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Castle, the National Art Museum, Tivoli Gardens, the Royal Danish Theatre and the Round Tower. The Little Mermaid sculpture sits by the harbour in Churchill Park. Strøget has many restaurants and shops, and remains at the centre of the city's night life.
