"Luxurious hotel with its own beach"
beach and ocean are very good (some waves, but bearable, if you want no waves - Isla Verde, Ritz), same - gorgeous hotels pools, nice restaurants (casual and/or "elegant", as they said), internet/wifi free, nice staff, good service. Close to San Juan (no need for car). BTW - I do not recommend a car for Old San Juan - nightmare: traffic and parking. However, this time I was lucky - I got a spot right away, but it is as playing a roulette. You would pay any money to get out of this traffic, but even to get to parking garage is traffic, no escape! So - public transportation or taxi. Thus - Condado is better than Isla Verde. You need the car to go to El Yunque, though. And, in my opinion, El Yunque beats anything else in Puerto Rico (even the glowing plankton), except Viejo San Juan (draw). Do not miss bathing in Mina falls! I digress - so, if you need a car, they have self-park, and - they did not even charge me for it this time (I might miss it on my bill). The bad part about this hotel - it is not cheap (compare to my previous stays there), but again - no escape.
David from NJ (Devils) and proud of it!
