“it worked”
wasn't great or bad...served its purpose-a good nights sleep before a long drive
“Qeen Size Bed SUCKS!!!”
The room was nice for a smoking room but the bed was a ROCK. there was ZERO softness to the bed. Maybe the other rooms may have soft beds but this bed really really sucked!

i made a reservation for a signature room and ended up with a standard. but other than that i was very pleased with my overall stay.

“Sad but cheap”
The room had such a foul odor that I had to launder all of my clothes after staying there one night. The chair in the room had a stain on it where someone had obviously urinated. It was inexpensive and this was the room's only real virtue. It wasn't so much that it was unclean. It was that it was so poorly maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. but the remote control to the vintage TV set in the room didn't have batteries in it. The Internet access in the room was as advertised. This was a pleasant surprise. All in all a pretty unpleasant stay. The circumstances didn't help (leaving my daughter at her dorm for her first time at college). So, maybe I was just too sad to see any good in the room.

The Extended Stay America Richmond - Hilltop Mall is affordable, clean, and handy, near my business stays. The night staff is courteous enough. Never a problem w/ ck in or out.

Toaster was broken, no amenities such as shampoo, had to go to the desk and ask for clean towels, no maid service, and air conditioner didn't work well.

The tub had dust in it and hairs...when I ran the shower the tub then was filled with water that had hairs and dust in it! TRULY DISGUSTING! The room had a muggy odor the type you encounter at a trift store. The room had no iron (just an ironing board) and the phone was not in working conditions-completely dead. NEVER NEVER AGAIN will I stay at this hotel!! The price is outrageously high for the type and quality of services being provided. Would rather stay at motel 6!
