“Unique rooms, Great location”

Very cool hotel in the heart of Columbus and very close to the Convention Center and the Hockey Rink. Within walking distance, too, of a few good restaurants so no need for a car if you're there for a short stay. The room I was in was a very cool space, spacious, high ceilings with exposed duckwork and pipes, nice bathroom and comfy bed. My only complaint that it was kind of loud through the night... what mostly seemed like rattling of pipes and the drywall clashing with the brick wall. Mostly irritating for a light sleeper like me so if you are a sound sleeper, shouldn't be an issue. Room service was average.

“Best Hotel for the Price”

The hotel room was great. It was the biggest I've ever stayed in for the price range. The location was great too, and the in-house restaurant was fantastic. My only complaint is there is no microwave in the hotel; at least not in the rooms or in the lobby.

“Different then most hotels”

This hotel is a loft style hotel. Very clean and located in good area!!! Parking next door for a pretty good price!!!

“Chic in Columbus!”

Clean, modern hotel with spacious and well-appointed rooms. Max and Erma's restaurant is adjacent and also handles room service. The only negatives: Our room was set at an unpleasant 80 degrees and didn't sleep well as a result. Additionally, the floor above ours sounded as if people were tipping over furniture and pacing back and forth. It was a bit noisy. Otherwise, this is a fabulous hotel! I would recommend it to others!

“Modern decor”

The Lofts is a renovated warehouse that has been changed over to a hotel. The rooms are large and very modern in decor. Help was super nice and the rooms were quiet! Hallways felt like you are in an apartment building versus a Hotel. Perfect location for me bc I had a conference at the Hyatt- right across the street. Paid way less to stay at the Lofts. Also had a Max & Erma's in the building that had a breakfast buffet- which is unusual. Down side you have to PAY for internet. Exercise/pool is located in the connecting (sister) hotel (The Regency). Also rooms have orignal rafter type ceiling. They could have used a little more overhead lighting.

“stylish hotel”

I am impressed by the style of hotel. I know it is more boutique orientied hotel when I made the reservation. Still, I am surprised by its maintenance and the design. I would recommend to people whom are looking for more than just a hotel when they choose the hotel.

“Not an ordinary hotel”

The Lofts had been recently remodeled. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, top of the line linens and bathroom amenities. Anything that we needed, the support staff were quick to deliver. I would certainly recommend to anyone traveling to the Columbus area.

“Charming and convenient”

The hotel was very nicely decorated in the big city loft motif. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean but could use a little upgrade in the shower. The only cleanliness issue was a stain on one of the chairs, which was a little gross.

“Very helpful”

We will likely return to The Lofts on the next trip to Columbus. The online room rate was unbeatable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities that were not available at the Lofts were at the sister hotel the Crown Plaza which is connected and uses a common drive entry. The building, a former factory, is far more interesting than the standard hotel. It may not qualify as a "10" but is very nice.

“Not impressed”

The room was not clean nor stocked. You could never reach room service. The carpets as well as the furniture were stained and dusty. Just not clean nor comfortable.
