“Good condition, clean and comfortable, what else do you need.”
There are a number of similar hotels in the area, ringing a great tavern for easy good food and beer.
“Made a believer out of me.”
I used to stay at another "suites hotel" chain when I traveled. My wife and I traveled to DC last month and when making a hotel reservation, I couldn't beat the price of Homewood Suites in Alexandria as compared to the other chain. At first I was a little uneasy, but after our arrival and getting settled into our suite, I quickly became comfortable with the room and accomodations. The kitchen in the room was phenomenal - had a full size refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. We actually went to a local supermarket and bought food to cook in our room. The front desk staff was top notch and when asked questions about local attractions, commuting, etc. they didn't hesitate to provide assistance (with a smile I might add). Our stay was superb, and when booking a reservation in Columbus, OH for this past weekend, I didn't hesitate to go with Homewood Suites again. They made a believer out of me, and in the future they will be my first choice. Thanks Homewood Suites!
“Poor Customer Service”
Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel was ok. The bathroom sink and tub drain stoppers were both broken and we had to prop them open with kitchen utensils. Our key cards stopped working when we came back to the hotel very late in the evening. The employee at the front desk that night, Jack I believe, was not very friendly or helpful acting like it was our fault the cards didn't work and our fault no one took my credit card when I checked in. The trip was prepaid. He sent us back to the room and the cards still did not work. I called the front desk on the phone near the elevator rather than walk back down, and the employee still acted like we were dumb or something. He finally came up and asked us more stupid questions like, "is there someone in the room?" which obviously was not the problem. We finally got in the room and his excuse was that the key cards were the cheapest on the market and didn't work well.
“Clean and friendly”
The room was larger than expected and the ammenities were great. Great variety of food for breakfast and attentive and friendly staff.
“outoftowner”
This hotel is very convenient to north Columbus and the only complaint we had was noise. The shower in the next room sounded like it was in ours and muffled voices could were easily heard. Bad insulation???
“best service ever”
The front desk clerk was outstanding answered every question before I asked. The room was nice and clean but, the service was exceptional. I will stay there again..

Enjoyed the say, all expected amenaties, and a very polite staff. Wonderful breakfast.

Nice clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Easy access to everything we wanted to do.
